The Hotel d'Inghliterra looked promising a great location minutes from the Spanish steps. We checked in and were escorted to our room which was hot and airless. The young lady who showed us the room suggested we open the window. After she left a grumpy old Italian brought our bags up as we hadn't changed any money yet we said...

I have recently returned from a two week stay at the Hotel d'Inghilterra with my two daughters. The staff, led by the wonderful head concierge Massimo Mazzola, were wonderful and at all times managed to secure bookings for us at late notice during the busy Easter period. We had three small but very comfortable rooms on the top floor with...

Just a short walk from the Spanish Steps with lots of eating places nearby this was the perfect location in Rome. Fabulous service from all the staff from the moment we arrived. The reception area is small but well served. Next to that is the sitting room which is divided into three areas where the furnishings are all different but...

I've just come back from 3 days away with my mother for her birthday and from the minute we arrived at the hotel we were treated like royalty. From our arrival we were treated as though we were the most important guests there. The doorman met us at the car and took our cases. Saskia at reception took us to our room, a deluxe double, very spacious and large bathroom also, which we had requested due to our needs. Saskia showed us everything we needed to know about...

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel in December 2014. It is unique and just a little quirky (in a good way). Great location, 5 minutes walk from the Spanish steps, breakfast buffet was great. Being critical the bathroom was probably in need of an update. However I will most definitely return.

Alessandro Marianetti is in the tradition of the old fashion REAL concierge who has all the answers , makes the calls, gets the reservations and handles everything in general. Nothing is impossible. Perfect service which has gone out of style in so many great hotels . So highly recommended all the way around. Five star service in a lovely hotel.
