I recently travelled to Rome with my brother as a special birthday treat for my Mum. Everything about this hotel made it the perfect stay - good location, brilliant roof-top terrace with nice breakfast selection and great for pre-dinner drinks. The best part was the wonderful wecolm, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went the extra mile...

Please don't come here. I just found here has tiny room for two people. And bathroom makes nasty smell. OMG!!! Don't believe other positive review. We had been through from London, Paris, Venice, and Firenze , but this place was worst place I ever been.

On a recent week long trip to Rome myself and my sister stayed here for three nights. The twin room was an alright size, the bathroom was clean and had all the wee extras that you might need, shampoo, shower caps and slippers. Towels were changed daily, housekeeping were great. Most of the staff were lovely, one of the receptionists...

This hotel has some 5 star aspects and some 3 star at best. The roof terrace has superb views and is perfect for breakfast or an early evening drink. The staff are excellent, with a friendly helpful attitude and happy to make restaurant and taxi bookings etc. The room decor works well, though the standard rooms are rather compact. However,...

This was our 2nd stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful - giving excellent recommendations and helping to book reservations. Quiet neighborhood, and easy to walk to different sites. LOVE the rooftop bar - great views during breakfast as well. Small rooms, but comfortable.

We found the staff efficient and friendly, the room pretty, bed excellent, quiet location. You just need to work out route to metro and although a bit further from centre than expected well worth it for value and peace. Would stay again. Lovely little shops selling food and drinks nearby, everyone helpful.

Overall, very good hotel at a reasonable price and very clean. Good variety for breakfast although coffee left a lot to be desired. In quiet area with a couple of good restaurants along the same street. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Station and approx 15-20 minutes walk to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

Previous reviews of this hotel seem accurate - Ideal base within walking distance of all the main sites. Staff are helpful. The room had everything we needed but was very warm & the air con didn't seem to work in ours (room 440). One thing worth pointing out is the tourist tax that needs to be paid on checking out...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
