I recently spent 3 nights here and would like to say I found it superb. Ideal location. Gorgeous decor Immaculate cleanliness. Large selection for breakfast served in a delightful way. Staff were truly wonderful and went the extra mile to make my partner's birthday extra special. Fabulous hotel all round
Location is excellent, although the entrance is on the side street . Throughout our 3 nights stay , the services provided by the reception cum concierge ( especially Daniel) was outstanding , from bookings and recommending great restaurants , booking our Covid PCR test and even providing What’sApp services with prompt reply to our all requests. Breakfast selection were superb with wonderful services. The room was bright and clean with very comfortable bed ! Highly recommended !
We had an amazing 3 night stay at this gorgeous first class hotel. Everything was perfect, The deluxe room was beautiful with a small balcony and was tastefully decorated. The whole hotel is stylish with beautiful decor and furnishing. Breakfast was a delight served to your table with a large selection. The staff were so helpful and professional and a joy to interact with. The location is great with many good restaurants nearby. I can honestly say one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
How lucky we were to discover this central, yet quiet hotel. Great accommodation, with high standards of cleanliness everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with particular care taken with gluten problems. But the main charm of this elegant hotel is due to its delightful staff, each showing warmth and kindness at every opportunity. Thank you, Hotel Barocco for making our holiday so memorable. We will be back!
We stayed here for two nights on a weekend break and had such a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly helpful with tips and help on where to go for supper and navigating our way around Rome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable with a fantastic rain shower and coloured lights in the bathroom! We were away for my husband's 50th birthday and they had champagne chilling on ice in our room when we arrived. The hotel is just around the corner from the metro and a 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. It is a very nice part of Rome to stay and whilst our room did not have a view it was very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was brilliant with so much choice and all table service and prepared to order. The barman in the evening made us lovely cocktails before we headed out to supper. We would strongly recommend this hotel.…
The staff here make the difference - they are incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent (though the service was a bit erratic). Location on Piazza Barberini is extremely convenient. 60 euro airport transfer is a great deal. Note that rooms are on the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.
Our experience as a family was stunning, parents and teenagers. We come from France. We staid 5 days for christmas and choose the Barocco Hotel for the warm and authentic atmosphere we felt. It was even better than we expected. Beautiful place but above all beautiful people. Thank you Daniel and Sara especially for your support and advise during the trip preparation. Thank you Fabio and Virgilio for your warm welcome, thank you Juan Luca for your great cocktails and « magic receipe » for our daughter. The Barocco team is a great one, and makes the difference comparing to other hotels. Rooms are great (we had a deluxe and two classics rooms), breakfast is top with fresh products and incredible cappuccino, location is perfect to reach all places (very close to Piazza de Spagna). We loved our 2022 Christmas spent in Rome 🌟♥️🌟 …
Our week-long stay at the Barocco couldn't have been nicer. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, thoughtful and professional. The room was bright, clean and comfortable (although the first night was hot but we figured out the cause-- the heated towel rack!-- which we turned off). A lovely daily breakfast is included. The Barocco's location is ideal, right off Piazza Barberini, a block from the metro. It's a pleasant walk to many of Rome's popular sites. This hotel is a gem. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return.
We found this hotel online and couldn't have picked a better one. Great location (in a little side road), totally a five star experience and most of all the little restaurants close by. Next time in Rome we will definitely be back.
Very good choice. Next to the metro station “Barberini”, something that makes the transportation process within the city very easy. Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast, beautiful building, thick mattresses, soundproof rooms. Big TV with Netflix. The rooms unfortunately are not very big. There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before. The sooner you go the better, otherwise you may wait long time to be served. The price per night is pretty high, you mostly pay for the convenient location. The breakfast was served on the table (not buffet type), the choices were tasty but unfortunately limited and repetitive. The hair dryer was an old one and you had to keep on pressing the button all the time to make it work. There was no place to put the bar of the hand soap, which was pretty annoying. There was also another thing that made me a bit sad. I had mentioned during the booking process that i would be staying with then during my birthday. Also I reminded it a few days before I go and it was visible on my passport the day we checked in. To my surprise, there was nothing special arranged. Not a message, or anything else. I have stayed in 2 and 3 star hotels that during birthdays and anniversaries give you at least a tiny piece of chocolate or write a small card with wishes. I was a bit disappointed inside me that we stayed for 3 nights to a 4 star hotel to such a special occasion for us and there was absolutely nothing arranged. Was I expecting something? Not exactly. But it would be a nice gesture, a nice touch that would make a difference. In general this hotel is a very good choice if you have a big budget and limited days to see Rome.…
