I booked through Secret Escapes on the spur of the moment. The hotel was in an ideal location. About a 5/10 minute walk from the coliseum and the city tour bus stop. Great breakfast with lots of variety, The room was old world charming Italian. Very comfortable. Great view from our room 206 - looking onto the Forum. Also ideally...

We had drinks here and although the ground floor bar is a very pleasant place to sit, we had hoped to enjoy the panoramic view of the Forum from their top floor terrace. So if you want to do the same it has to be in the high season.

The hotel overlooks the Forum and you can see the Colosseum from the dining room, and most of the essential Rome sites are within easy walking distance. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable, and there's a lift for access to everywhere except the roof garden. Up there you can have cocktails outside looking over the Forum and towards the...

While visiting a nearby church, we happened to walk by this hotel and look in. They had the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the lobby. We went in and asked if we could photograph the tree, and they most graciously agreed. This is a hotel we would consider on our next trip to Rome. It overlooks the ruins in...

The hotel is located in the heart of Rome, right next to the Roman forum and a few steps from Colosseum. Old fashioned forniture reminds you of the glorious days, and rooms are quite essential and comfortable. The structure offers good breakfast with a vast selection of food and beverages. The personnell is very professional in delivering the best service...

What could be better? A lovely hotel right next to the Roman Forum and within walking distance of the major sights, including the Colosseum. It is also only a 20-minute walk to the main station, so there is no need to bother with taxis. And what an amazing restaurant for breakfast, perched right on top of the hotel and overlooking...

We stayed in Hotel Forum for 5 nights recently and really loved it. It is a hotel full of character and charm with excellent service and perhaps the best view in Rome. It’s difficult to get a better location with the ruins literally on the door step, 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum and even less to the Forum. We...
