This was the best hotel we have stayed in in Rome a small family run hotel. The location was right in the heart of most of the attractions in the ancient part of Rome. The hotel staff were so freindly, nothing was a problem. The room was small but very clean, comfortable beds, and great facilities. The decor was very pretty and boutique style. Surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars too. A special thankyou to Angelo on reception, he was so informative and helpful. This was definitely a 5* experience for us.

The location is amazing. We were able to walk to Trevi fountain, the metro stop, is just up the street, there are bars and restaurants all up and down the street. The room was perfect and maid service came sometimes multiple times a day, although unnecessary it was very welcome. concierge was extremely helpful and friendly and could get you a taxi in no time at all. Everything was clean, in good repair, and really charming.

This hotel is just a GEM in Rome. Look no further and book there! Location: perfect, right at a short (walking!) distance from all of Rome’s main historical sites. With so many options, you can’t go wrong with this one. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible one.The concierges Angelo, Christian and Max are so amazing and very friendly, we felt at home. Also, here’s a hint: book directly with the hotel for more savings! Don’t use any booking platforms because you will end up paying more ;-). Overall, we have absolutely no complaints. We loved everything and everyone! Thank you!!

Charming boutique hotel in the boutique are of Rome. Great location beside a charming cafe/bakery and delightful restaurants are close by as are recycle boutiques and charming shops. . Rooms are nicely snd individually decorated and some have balconies overlooking the cafe. Reasonably priced for Rome if you book well in advance but prices go up during busy season from 260-700 euros per night friending on the amount of people the room fits. Breakfast is available in a charming room for 12 euros. Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful

Christian at the front desk was great - rooms are fairly small for 2 people. Location is great , next to Cavour metro , 1 stop away from Rome main train station. 5 minute walk to the Colosseum, nice that it was not in a busy traffic or pedestrian area

Fabulous find in the back streets close to the colosseum. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are well equipped and are clean and tidy. Easy walk to all the main sites and just a metro stop from the main station too. Quieter area than some others but local bars and restaurants good and a great patisserie just around the corner for breakfast if you don’t eat in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again when we return

And I see a 500 Euros charge on my card bill. Charge made on September 2nd. Two days before free cancelling. Not to mention that their rooms are extremely small, almost total darkness during the day (windows facing a wall) for rooms in the nearby building with a tiny entrance, separate from hotel lobby, no breakfast for two rooms for which I was supposed to pay 3,950 Euros for five nights.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and my entire family has stayed at the Duca when in Roma for 25+ years. Angelo and staff are the absolute best. The hotel may be in the best location in Roma. Restaurants, the Coliseum and subway are super close by. The hotel is super clean and the rooms are very nice. Get the breakfast. It is very tasty and gets you ready to go exploring.

We had a lovely 3-night stay at the Duca d'Alba - family of 4. Yes, count on location being perfect - Colosseum, Metro, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps - all right there. At first glance, the neighborhood might seem sketchy, but once you get to know it, it's lovely - lots of young ppl, good energy; we felt very safe. We booked a Junior Suite (€733.08 for 3 nights - discount for paying cash). AC was awesome - double pane windows so no noise problems from outside. We did have to walk around the corner to our room, and up a flight of stairs - configuration through hall might seem a little weird to some, but we were fine and experienced no problems being in this part of the building. It was kind of fun as you are on the street and it feels like you're going home instead of to a hotel. Lovely street views from our windows. I would pass on the breakfast (we had to pay €9/each) - my teens weren't fans, and I wasn't too impressed. Good breakfast place down the block (5 minutes) - La Licata. All staff we encountered, were very courteous and helpful - helped us get our laundry done at a place around the corner. Hotel has no parking, but just down the street is a parking garage - was pretty easy. Great experience all around!
