My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and we had a really pleasant stay. We requested a room with a good view which we were given and we also requested a private transfer to the hotel. Edward drove us from the airport to the hotel and he was very professional- high recommend booking this by emailing the hotel! The staff members were all extremely friendly and helpful and our rooms were cleaned well each day. The hotel was in a good area. We bought the 48 hour metro ticket and caught the metro to the sights (the nearest one was around a seven minute walk). It can get busy though so be aware of that! At breakfast, there weren't many hot options. That said, the cold breakfast that was offered was good and there was a lovely view from the breakfast room. Another thing to note is that the walls weren't very sound proof so we could hear everything in the corridors. However, this didn't really bother us. The room wasn't the most modern and was slightly dusty when we arrived but we didn't feel that this affected the trip. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here! Show less

This was a really nice small hotel with friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and a large double, although it made space in the smallish room a bit limited. The shower and bathroom generally very good although toilet flush could be more effective. We had a sixth floor room with good view although the local area seems a bit run down. The room was always hot (24-26 degrees) and although the window did open wide and outside temperature was in the range 14-22 degrees, it didn’t cool down. The window needed to be shut at night because of the traffic noise. The air con did not make any difference. The Metro is five minutes walk away or if you prefer you could walk to the Colosseum in 20 minutes and another twenty to the central sights such as the Trevi fountains or Piazza Navona. The Vatican was about an hour’s walk or easily reached by Metro. Breakfast was good although cooked food was limited to scrambled eggs and bacon. All buffet style. Coffee machine. Interesting that on entering the hotel, steps take you up to the lift and that lift only goes as far as reception. Another lift serves the other seven floors and is reached by passing through reception. Breakfast was on the top floor with lovely views across the city. Tea and coffee available in the room included decaffeinated tea and coffee, plus earl grey tea bags. Wi-Fi was very slow at times. All in all not quite five stars but I would happily return and recommend this hotel to others as good value when part of a Jet2 City Breaks package.

I had a good experience at this hotel. Pros: Good position: 5 minutes walk to metro, 25-30 minutes walk to Colosseum, maybe 45 minutes walk to Trevi fountain. There is a shopping center close by, and some good restaurants. Good breakfast, you can ask for an expresso if you don't like the regular coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: only the fact that the walls are pretty thin so you can hear noise from other rooms. I will come back next time I'm in Rome.

Just returned from an excellent stay at BW Hotel Piccadily Rome. Messaged the Hotel beforehand to request a high room with a view and they didn't disappoint. Recommend room 609 if available. Very well situated and has great travel connections to and from the centre. Quite a few places to eat near to the Hotel, but would definitely recoommend trying L' Vitelloni for something to eat. All in all a very pleasant stay and staff very welcoming and helpful. Will hopefully one day return.

My best friend and I just got back from a weekend in Rome. This hotel is located 5 min walk from the Metro. The Metro is like the Tube. It gets you everywhere and we paid €18 for 3 days. We used it all the time to get around. The hotel is clean, today and the staff are super helpful. We even had a balcony in our room! Great hotel. Would recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay Best Western.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful and happy to help. This hotel isn’t in the direct centre of the major tourist attractions but there is a metro station within a 10 min walk and also a stop for the big bus tour at San Giovanni which is also within a 10 minute walk. The rooms at the hotel are small but due to being out from early morning until late evening the room was fine but very hot as the air con wasn’t great but if you don’t mind a bit of traffic noise sleeping with the window open was fine for us. The selection at breakfast was good and well stocked as we went for breakfast at different times each day and the selection was the same, no issues with things running out. The room where breakfast is served is very nice and has a great view of the city from the large windows which spans across the room which is a nice start to the morning. Photo of the view below. Our only issue was there is only 1 lift in the hotel which at a push fits 4 people and services 8 floors so some mornings we were waiting up to 10 minutes to be able to get in the lift as it would keep arriving full with people either going up to level 8 for breakfast or ground floor to leave for the day, so if you are in the middle floors it can be a wait and there is no option to take the stairs. So if you are booking a taxi we learnt to wait until we got to the lobby and not order as we left the room which worked fine and also leave earlier for the buses to allow time for the lift. At the most an Uber cost us 14€ which was to the Pantheon/T’revi area and 11€ to the Collesseum. I would happily return to this hotel if I was to visit Rome again and would recommend this hotel.

Pros : The hotel is near Metro A line San Giovanni station. If you don't like the noise and crowd at the city of center. This is good choice that it is a residential area but still you can access everywhere in Rome quite easily. Renovated and clean. The bed is comfy. Nice breakfast. Not many hot meal options but very neaty breakfast. I enjoyed them a lot. Cons : very small room. But for the business traveller it is not a problem. Rude bartender. He is the only one who is rude in the hotel and probably a racist. The noise of airconditioning, I just turned it off and opened the window. If you are sensitive, you need a ear plug. Since it is a small room, all the noise seems very irritating. I will definitely come back this hotel, you cannot get this kind of clean hotel with this price at the city of center.

Stayed here for a Rome city break. The staff were very good in the hotel and were quick to check us in and provide us with any info we needed. We also got our city taxes halved, not quite sure why or how but it was treated like a promotion? The room is fine - everything you’d expect in Rome, small but the beds were comfy and the shower etc was nice. Breakfast wasn’t the best - the scrambled egg looked like it had been in there for hours. Looked dry, not for me. A lot of other choices though, we never left without feeling well fed. I misjudged the distance you have to walk to the main attractions of Rome though - you’re looking at a 40 minute walk to the collosium for example - nothing is really close by. There’s a lot of restaurants etc on the main road as a plus. It’s another 30 minute walk to Termini as well. I wouldn’t stay here again mainly for location - but if that doesn’t put you off then this hotel is very good.

We arrived on Sunday 25th September at around 14:00 in the rain. Fabian the concierge on reception was extremely helpful explaining how to get to our room . How to get to the nearest metro staiton, how to get around Rome. The best places to go and when to go. All the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was 07:00 till 10:00 with plenty of cold choice. Cheeses pastries cold meats croissants, etc. The hot choice was a bit limited, scrambled eggs. Bacon and toast , very nice all the same. The room was pleasant , although overlooking a busy road, it wasn't that noticeable overnight. All in all we had a very good 4 nights stay.

Pulled up outside the hotel and wondered what have I done . The hotel is over shops which are boarded up, there are steps upto the lift which concerned me … BUT I shouldn’t have worried once we entered the reception area we knew we had made the right choice .. Fabio on reception was so helpful , our room although small was clean and had amazing views over Rome .. breakfast was continental although there was scrambled egg and bacon available too …. the hotel is on the edge of Rome and we had a walk to the coliseum of around 3km which was a pleasant stroll of around 40mins with many restaurants along the way . The holiday was amazing and we will definitely use this hotel again ! Thankyou
