We had an excellent time staying at the Double Tree hotel, Rome. Location was excellent. Room and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay at this hotel again. Location very convenient for main railway station.
Wonderful customer service/front desk service from Carla and Irene. They met all our needs with cheerfulness and great insight! Cheerful and prompt service from the breakfast staff. Francesca, Christian, and Alexandria were so sweet every morning. They work very hard. The breakfast included hot and cold varieties. Great breakfast! Great location to the train station for day trips. Short walks to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish steps. The front desk called taxis that typically arrived in 3 minutes. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are clean and modern. The AC was superb. The front desk will lower the temp if the room setting is not cold enough. Housekeeping did a prompt and great job daily ( you have the option to not have housekeeping) I’m a Hilton Diamond member so I feel qualified to rate this hotel as EXCELLENT. We stayed 8 days and loved everything about this hotel and it ‘s staff. Thank you!…
My boyfriend and I visited earlier this month and we were very pleased with the service the staff provided - very attentive and helpful with booking taxis, giving directions to the nearest sights etc. We stayed a total of 3 nights and had breakfast each morning down in the restaurant. They had great continental options as well as self serve coffee machines, which were great! Overall very impressed!
Top location - very very clean. The breakfast could be improved in a more "italian touch". Very well and kind team, and very supporting to all of our requests. The top floor bar is a jem..if sometime Hilton will decide to make it more fun, cosy and spot view of the city.
I am never disappointed when staying at the Double Tree anywhere around the world. Excellent value and experience. The best. Their attention to detail is great and as wxpexted, they are consistent with a high quality.
Hello, Myself and my family stayed at the Hilton Doubletree Monti for 7 days in early December. The hotel is in a wonderful location, and extremely convenient for sightseeing and day travel. The hotel is extremely clean and has wonderful amenities. But…..what makes this hotel great??? Absolutely the wonderful staff that works there…starting from the front desk where Giulia and Irene excel at their job. They were extremely kind and accommodating to my family. The restaurant and their staff is wonderful and go out of their ways to make your dinning experience great…a special shout out goes to the best hostess in the world Camilla…she made our stay and dinning experience great. She is kind, beautiful in and out and a truly joy to be around. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you for all you do. We will be back!!!!!!!!!!!! Massimo…
Comfy room and bed, welcoming and helpful staff (at least if you speak Italianbut seemed equally so when speaking to other guests in English), a great base to explore Rome from. 15 mins walk to the Colosseum. A couple of good bars, if pricey. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Ideal if you're arriving into Termini.
We visited Rome recently and stayed at this hotel and we had a great visit . The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly . Our room was on the third floor and was nice and quiet . We had an issue with the shower but the maintenance man came immediately and resolved it for us . The room had tv , fridge and the bed was decent although the pillows might just be the lumpiest ones I’ve ever come across ( I really should have said to the receptionist . I’m sure they would have changed them ) . The Shower was powerful enough and towels were good quality . The hotel has a decent location being only a 5/10 minute walk to the train station . Breakfast had a decent choice and set us up for the day . When I’m back in Rome I would stay here again .
This hotel is located close to the main Roma Termini train station so it is good location if you are planning day trips to Florence or Milan. Its exact location wasn’t immediately obvious to me using online maps but it you take the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, a very large and beautiful church, as a landmark it is the corner of a road that is directly opposite the church. It’s just away from the main tourist areas, about 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and 20 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain.
Hotel is nice and clean rooms. Fitness Center. Breakfast area. Roof top Bar. Stayed 5 days in this hotel. Staff very helpful. Hotel can arrange a Taxi within 4 to 8 min. Very close to train station. Main tourist destinations within walking distance. Quiet rooms. Located in front of St Marys Basilica and next to Argentine Embassy. I would stay again when in Rome.
