Hotel Artemide was recommended to us by family who had stayed there several years before. It is a great hotel. The staff are very friendly and polite. They were all so helpful. We celebrated my wife’s birthday in Rome and the staff sent a bottle of Prosecco to our room, though we did not tell anyone about it! Such a nice touch! The room was very modern, clean and extremely comfortable. We had lunch at the rooftop restaurant that has very nice views of the city. The food was delicious. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the Coliseum, the Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We walked back from a Vatican tour, just meandering through the streets. It was so much fun! If you enjoy shopping, Hotel Artemide is right in the middle of it. I liked that is was about a 10 minute walk from Piazza Navona as it was less crowded and bit more quiet at night. There are some terrific restaurants nearby. I highly recommend La Taverna dei Monti, which is only a 5 minute walk from Hotel Artemide. This is a great hotel and if you stay here, you’ll be very satisfied with your choice! M. DuBartell

Hotel's Favourite
Just left this gorgeous hotel after a weeks stay! Location was perfect with most attractions nearby! Walking distance! The only one that’s a little far in the heat was The Vatican but the hop on hop off bus fixed that issue. First impressions of the hotel are of course when you are greeted, I knew from the warm welcome from concierge that this was going to be a good stay!! Very welcoming and extremely friendly. I have to say, this hotel is without a doubt, one of the best we have stayed in and cannot believe it isn’t a 5* The hotel itself is immaculate, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are a fabulous size and very modern. We had a room (409) away from the main road which was fabulous as it was so so quiet! The beds were super comfy with ample of space! The mini bar in the room was FREE and replenished daily!! What a fabulous gesture! The best thing about this hotel though…the staff! I mean, Seriously….the staff were all absolutely amazing! Nothing was too much effort and it was all delivered with a genuine smile. Ivan and his partner in crime (the beautiful young lady that helped me purchase hop on hop off tickets - sorry didn’t catch her name) were just truly brilliant! Breakfast was plentiful and a huge range to choose from! You can order other items from the waiter/waitresses too. Again, the staff were always smiling and looked happy to be there! So so kind. Our most favourite person of all…Daniella, the housekeeper! Wow! If only the world was full of Daniella’s! She was just so kind and gentle (my 9yr old absolutely loved her). She really couldn’t speak much English but we managed to communicate with some laughs. She was super efficient, extremely conscientious and paid a lot of attention to detail. Rooms was left fresh and immaculate! Again, nothing was ever too much effort for her and she would go over and above to make sure you had all you needed. We had a complimentary drinks voucher given to us on arrival which we used on the roof top bar which was lovely. We didn’t dine here for an evening meal so can’t comment but the food looked very good! Would defo use this hotel again and again!

What a gem of a hotel!!! My husband found it when we were looking for a hotel for one night before our flight home. We were upgraded to a spacious suite upon arrival; immaculate and with every amenity. They offered a complimentary Prosecco or coffee in their beautiful rooftop lounge. The staff was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a car service. But the best part was the the unbelievable breakfast. Every possible food on the buffet as well as passed crostini ( delicious) and fresh pastries. This hotel definitely deserves its 5 stars!!

Outstanding hotel. Decoration is beautiful and to a high standard. Spotlessly clean throughout. Bedroom beautiful. Items in minibar replenished daily (and free). Breakfast was fabulous. Ambrosia restaurant and drinks on rooftop bar also fantastic. Enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area after a busy day sightseeing. Location was brilliant and in walking distance to main attractions. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast team were wonderful. It is obvious staff are well trained and passionate. The complimentary wine and snacks for husbands birthday were a lovely suprise and much appreciated. The welcome drink (prosecco) was also fabulous. An absolute gem of a hotel. It should be classed as a five star! Well done - keep up such good work!

What a super find. We loved this hotel. All the staff are fabulous, everywhere is very clean & the breakfasts & evening meals were wonderful Tiny negative about the dinner menu. we had very few choices that sounded appetising. I’m sure they would all have been good considering how our choices came but the descriptions were too convoluted & who wants pork belly for a lovely meal 😂 Desserts & cocktails to die for though 😘

We just spent another 5 days at this well located 4 star hotel. It could be our 4th stay! Fabulous location, Spanish steps and high fashion shopping is only 10 minutes walk as is the Coloseum and Piazza Venezia. Rooms are cool, well appointed and very quiet. The free water, drinks, tea, coffee and snacks are most welcome after a day out and about. Beautiful toiletries are supplied. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff at reception, happy and friendly porters and door men and finally the breakfast is one of the best you'll ever get in Italy! Apart from the buffet of a selection of cheeses, vegetables, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cold cuts, cereals, fruits and pastries,... There is freshly baked fennel bread and foccacia, the most amazing buffolo bocconcini and superb ricotta. This is brought out to your table together with bruschetta AND there are also 2 cakes of the day each morning. All washed down with juices, or made to order coffee. This breakfast was enough for the day, leaving room for a gelato in the afternoon ( just 2 doors away) and we often finished off with a pizza at Pizza Target. Dont hesitate! You have everything you need here. Enjoy!

Location The hotel is a 10 mins walk from the main Termini and 5 mins walk to Repubblica metro. It is also a 15 mins walk to the infamous Trevi fountain. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby for dining and retail therapy. Service Our booking included buffet breakfast and there were sufficient food options which can get quite repetitive if you are staying for many days but there is always the "cake/pastry of the day" which was excellent. Selvatore from the dining hall serves guests with passion and enthusiasm which lifts everyone's spirits especially in the early morning. Room We booked the Comfort Double room and the room is newly furnished so it was a very clean and comfortable stay.

Wow...what a fantastic hotel! Where do I start? Firstly, the reception staff and hotel porters are so nice, friendly and helpful! Ivan on the front desk with his colleagues are amazing, full of tips and helpful advice for travelling around Rome. Ivan also recommended 3 restaurants for us to eat at - and he was spot on every single time. It was always a pleasure seeing him and Elisa on the desk! Breakfast - oh my goodness...firstly the restaurant staff at breakfast are incredible, very welcoming, friendly and passionate about making you feel cared for! Pasquale and Salvatore are two of the nicest breakfast staff you could ever wish for - they are wonderful and so are their team. They manage breakfast so well and are very hard working. Pasquale brings out freshly (yes...freshly!) made food to your table (on top of the excellent breakfast buffet). There is such a wide choice of hot and cold breakfast options for guests as well as so many drinks to choose from. If you like Cake...then there is so much of it - Salvatore bring it to your table for you. And yes....it is freshly made every single morning and they make sure you are full when you leave the breakfast restaurant. I can honestly say that we were sad when we had our last breakfast there as the staff made you feel like family even after just 4 days! The room was very comfortable and spacious, with air conditioning, free minibar which is topped up every day and you do get a very good nights sleep. The location of the hotel is excellent - you are within walking distance of most attractions such as the spanish steps and trevi fountain. Whilst we stayed at the hotel we used the spa for 2 treatments and also ate in the rooftop restaurant. The massages we had in the spa were excellent, you felt so relaxed after and the staff are extremely professional and put a lot of effort into providing a clean, relaxed environment/atmosphere. The restaurant was so beautiful on the rooftop. The staff who served us were friendly (like everyone else in the hotel!) and the food was amazing. It was hard to get booked into the restaurant but that was because it is so popular with the food being so nice. It is definitely a restaurant for fine dining. The hotel as a whole should be a 5 star given everything we experienced. The price we paid was extremely good for this calibre of hotel. We have paid a lot more for hotels that cannot even get close to the hotel Artemide. We will be visiting Rome again and we will definitely be coming back here and we cannot wait! Before coming to Rome we were looking for a long time to find the right hotel. But there is no need to search for a hotel to stay at anymore - Hotel Artemide is the place to stay in Rome! Thank you to all the staff for a truly memorable experience and a fantastic stay!!
