My husband and I stayed here for four nights a couple of weeks ago. From the moment we arrived everything was good. All the staff, reception, porters, waiting on and bedroom were the friendliest, most smiley I have ever come across in a hotel. They were very efficient, very helpful and certainly helped to enhance our stay. The hotel was...

Stayed there just the other week for 5 days. We had a wonderful time in Rome made special for us by the very very helpful staff who could not have done more for us. Spotlessly clean from top to toe, we were extremely well looked after throughout. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Room was especially comfortable...

This hotel was a great choice for my three day stay in Rome in a great central location with lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby. I had a very spacious room with a very modern bathroom and the morning breakfast was excellent. Most importantly for visitors to a new city was the wonderful help from the delightful front desk...

My husband and I stayed at Artemide for our honeymoon from 8th December to 15th December. Even before we arrived we had a taste of excellent service from Sebastian when we had issues with our visa card. He was patient and coordinated to allow us successfully pay and change our dates. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile by...

I visited Rome for the first time with my wife, this hotel made it a weekend to remember. My wife and I stayed in a deluxe suite and it was worth every penny. The location is excellent, approx 15 minutes walk from the colosseum and Palatine, 15 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. The greeting by reception when we arrived...

What a wonderful, perfect stay in Rome, and in this beautiful hotel. Wonderful, warmhearted, attentive staff in every area. We felt tremendously spoilt. It felt more like being in a five star than a four, with the positive exception that it didn't have the stuffiness of some five stars. Rooms are beautiful, clean, super-equipped. Breakfast is a wonderful experience in...

Artemide hotel is wonderful! The best location in Rome - near to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The whole staff is very pleasant and helpful, the hotel and room luxurious and the breakfast is indeed very rich and special! The restaurant on the top of the hotel and the spa definately worth a visit!

I can't say that I have stayed at this hotel but I booked a romantic package as a wedding present in July 16 to be enjoyed around Valentine's Day this year. From the moment of my enquiry until the time of travel all of the front desk team but especially Davide were so prompt, courteous and informative in dealing with...

We just returned from 6 fabulous days at Hotel Artemide and highly recommend it! The hotel is beautiful, spotless clean everywhere and the service was outstanding. We choose a comfort room and had a jacuzzi bath which we really enjoyed after long days walking the city. The breakfast is worth having included in your booking, the selection is the best...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
