This is the second time we've stayed at the Artemide. The newly renovated rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you would like to be near the termini. The front desk staff is very helpful. The breakfast was way over the top--delicious and so many choices. The rooftop has been really been well done....

My siblings and I stayed at Artemide this June 2014 on our first trip to Italy. The staff is helpful and cordial. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room had been recently renovated and it did not disappoint. It is 5 minutes from a Metro and 10 minutes from Termini station. Also, we were within walking distance of the Major...

We travelled as a family of 4 and spent 4 nights in Artemide. Absolutely loved it. Would say that of the hotels we stayed in during our 2 week vacation across Paris, Lucerne, Florence, Venice, this is the best. We had a triple room with a King sized bed + a single bed. The room is splendid, very comfortable. Believed...

I spent a lot of time looking for the right hotel for our family of 5 for a 5-day stay in Rome and it was time well spent. The Artemide Hotel was absolutely perfect. My wife and I had a Junior Suite and the kids ( ages 11 - 14 ) were in a Triple Deluxe Room just down the...

We were looking for a hotel providing value for the money in Rome. This fit the bill. A few downsides:there is essentially no nice lobby area to read or hang out-a small space off the lobby, poorly decorated is all that they provide. With a fancy new renovation, they should have something a bit nicer. Never made it to the...

Dear Guests, We are glad to learn that you have enjoyed your stay in our newly refurbished hotel and we are pleased that you have managed to retrieve your son’s phone from the taxi. Regarding the notes you make on our facilities and service we just wanted to explain them further. Lobby: as you have rightly mentioned the hotel lobby...

My husband and I spent 3 delightful days at this wonderful hotel. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely rooftop restaurant/bar and breakfast room. The room was small but very adequate, nicely decorated, as were all the common areas. The staff was exceptional. The location was great, which was most important to us. Highly recommended.

Our family of 10, including 6 adults and 4 children stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Artemide. The rooms were extremely pleasant and had everything we needed. A special feature of the hotel is that the minibar items were all complimentary, including water, soft drinks, and beer. The restaurant was very comfortable and had an excellent selection of foods and...

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May. From the second we arrived I knew I was going to love this hotel! There was a friendly welcome and our room was lovely. We arrived on my 40th birthday and as well as a suprise bottle of bubbly from my family, there was a beautiful plate of amazing...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
