This hotel is near the church Santa Maria La Magliore and not far from the center if you want to go for a walk! Rooms are nice and comfortable and you can have a great breakfast also there! The service is nice and friendly and will make it easier to you.

This hotel was in the best most convenient location possible. Only a block from the metro station and a 15 minute walk from the colosseum. Lost of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The service is very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with shower but it was fixed immediately. The breakfast is average with croissants, bread and cheese. The coffee...

Budget hotel in a good position within walking distance of railway station & shuttle bus stop for the airport. The room was very small & tired looking, the bathroom was very very tiny. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was very limited but we didn't pay a lot for the room.

We didn't have great expectations because of the room price...The location of the hotel was great, few blocks from the Termini-station. The hotel staff were really helpful, told how to easily reach the"must to see" places. The room was littlebit old stylish but clean and the air conditioner worked. The wifi worked fine, at least on the 2nd floor. The...

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make your trip special. They offer you a lot of information and guidance. Breakfast is always lovely. The hotel is in a very central location and the rooms are nicely decorated and well furnished.

Old style hotel, so old that there are on lifts. From some that would be a problem but it's a good workout. Small bathroom. Still in all charming place with a great staff. Breakfast is very basics, coffee is good. Location is great, close to the train station and walking distance to the colosseum and more. View of our room.

Stayed here for a week in May 2015. Is 5/10 minutes walk from the bus and train station so well placed for getting around, particularly as it is the centre of the bus system to get get you around the city. Lots of nice restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We just went out every night without...

It was a great place mto stay in the centre of Rome. Well suited for shops, and many of the attractions to see in Rome. The hotel was clean, and a good place to visit local restaurants. The staff were helpful and guided us on our way around the city.

When you're in Rome for a short citytrip and you only need a cheap bed because you're out in the city all day, this is the perfect place! The interior of the room is oldfashioned, but fits wonderfully in the old characteristic building in which this hotel is located. The room is tidy, the bathroom tiny - but all basic...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
