This is a great hotel, old world elegance in an ideal location. After a filling included breakfast, walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Barberini metro station easily. The hotel staff are super helpful. A market and takeout deli allow you to enjoy food on the patio if you are lucky enough to get room 301. There are ample eateries...

Went to Rome for a short winter holiday, and booked a room at La Residenza. The neighbourhood was quiet, the service good and prices affordable. Clean and decent room. Maybe the bed was a bit too hard. Polite staff and decent breakfast. Short walk to the center and the more popular attractions. Reccommendable.

This hotel if great. All places of interest are walkable no need for tubes or taxis. Staff great, breakfast was first class. The hotel is being renovated but this didn't disturb us, you want a refurbished room, lovely. Great shower, huge beds, huge room. All in all great. The only thing I would say is there is no tea/coffee in...

A very clean, well run hotel which is nicely positioned for getting around this Fabulous city. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and very nice breakfast. Registration was fast and efficient, and the baggage holding on our last day was particularly useful. I would return to this hotel in the future.

We visited Rome for Italy V's Wales we stayed 3 nights. The rooms were of a very good quality I'd say 5* and breakfast was also good. Staff were very helpful and rooms were cleaned daily. The only small criticism is the location as there seems to be a few brothels in the immediate vicinity signposted as Piano Bars with...

After three weeks of travelling through Europe, this hotel was our last stop before returning back home. It was without doubt the most beautiful accommodation on our trip. Our bedroom (301, with balcony) was huge, with high ceilings, impressing with its immaculate, traditional style. It had the largest bed for two I have ever come across - the room was...

What a fine little hotel! Located on a side street in a very nice and central part of Rome, this lovely hotel was a great find Located within walking distance of the Trevi Fountian and very near a metro stop, we preferred to walk whenever we could. The lobby was elegant and the desk service was excellent: we asked for...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
