lovely hotel in a good position. Close enough to walk to most sites, if not bus stop nearby, Staff very welcoming and helpful, Yes the decor is a bit tired but I think that with the art deco furniture and tiny corridors it added to the overall charm. Breakfast was good, not overflowing with fruit and salads but all that...

Thought we were staying at a 4* hotel but put into 0* Apartments 300Mtrs away. Had to drag suitcases and hand luggage bags round the back streets in the dark. Smelled vile of damp so strong it made you heave. Phoned hotel to complain and had no Customer Service just excuses that they were all full up in the hotel....

Warm welcome in a pleasant hotel in a nice area.Room ok wth bath as requested but would have appreciated a slightly bigger room for three guests.Comfy beds, clean room and daily towel change.View from room was small courtyard which could have been more appealing as needed sweeping etc, Staircase very narrow and lift only suitable for one person and case.Porter did...

Lovely quirky hotel. The room wasn't the best, need to book a front room. The staff were lovely in all departments. The bar was handy for refreshments in the afternoon as well as the evening. We ate at the hotel a couple of evenings and everything was good.Plenty of choice at breakfast too.We booked it at random and it was pretty easy to find everything...

We spent two nights at this hotel in May. While the staff are excellent and the location is great for visiting sites, the hotel itself needs updating. The pictures shown on the website do not accurately represent the very outdated rooms. You could easily find a higher quality hotel in this price range.

I spent a long time researching hotels in Rome and this was my favourite. The photos looked amazing but that was not the case. The rooms were very dated. Double bed which was actually 2 singles pushed together. Every time you moved the beds moved apart as I think they were on wheels or something. The room was clean but...

This came as part of our cruise package and would not choose again but did the job! Very dated and basic but lovely friendly staff. Room was spotlessly clean but very basic- no glasses, no tea and coffee, no iron and furniture functional at best. We had a room on the 3rd floor so quite large with a Newly renovated...

Room 332 is just about as far away as you can get from checking in. The lift will take you to the 2nd floor and it's stairs to the next level. This room overlooks a small square surrounded by residential properties where each and every noise of everyday living is amplified 10 times. The room is tiny, there is no...

Good position near center. Rooms clean, daily cleaning, breakfast food decent, good wine bar , nice staff, helpful and friendly. Good value for money overall. We will try other hotels next time due to a lot of choices near the area.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
