Small rooms but tidy and helpful staff easy enough to get taxis everywhere and walking distance to Spanish steps. The ladies at breakfast were lovely and really efficient. I found catching a taxi reasonable and cheap to most places.

We stayed 3 nights at hotel. It is located about 5 km from Vatican and a bit closer to Forum. Not too bad but quite a walk. There are buses but we haven't tried them. Rooms are clean but very basic. wi-fi is free bu slow and unreliable at times. Breakfast had night selection on first morning but then on...

If the likes of the Savoy or the Ritz are too much for you; if all you want is a clean, nice hotel in a safe part of town; or if you need comfort but not luxury, then the Oxford Hotel is the right choice for you. The Oxford shows you can have a lovely sojourn in Rome without busting...

Have just enjoyed a fabulous four night break staying in this hotel. The termini for picking up the hop on and hop off bus is a 10 minute walk, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps about 15 minutes. Although there are hotels closer to the main attractions this is a lovely hotel in a fairly quite location, great staff, lovely places...

Our family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights in mid June, 2014. It was an great experience. Based on prior reviews, we were expecting a good breakfast buffet and weren't disappointed. Added "pros" were: 1) extremely helpful staff all of whom spoke English - at one point the manager on duty saw that the "bellhop" was swamped and literally...

Stayed here in January, and returned in June to celebrate our 1st Wedding anniversary. Our first stay was fantastic in all ways and the second was slightly different. The bar and restaurant have had a complete refurbishment and has been done to very high standard. The breakfast buffet was ok but we thought this time not as good of a...

We went as a group of 5 females, had booked 2 rooms, one for 3, and a twin room, all our requests were met and exceeded. On arrival one of the rooms was ready but the other was going to be 30 minutes, so we sat in the bar and had a drink and relaxed. As we had arrived at...

After walking Rome this would be the last bed you'd want to sleep in, Hard as a rock. Don't stay In the "apartment" or you'll find yourself 3 Blocks from the actual Hotel. Trust me it was not a sight to see, thankfully they let us stay at the Hotel. You may have to carry your luggage up stairs to...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
