I've stayed at this hotel twice and have had a good experience each time. It has a good location and is an easy walk to the Vatican. The breakfast offered is very good and I would absolutely take advantage of it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It outdoor bars in the summer are nice and I recommend them. The...

I stayed the Visconti Palace Hotel as part of a group tour to attend a ceremony at the Vatican. I found the staff to be very helpful and efficient. I had a problem with the shower in my room and they worked very diligently to correct the problem. In my case, the breakfast was included and the team in the...

Very pleased with our choice of hotel - good value for money, convenient, clean and friendly! A shame that the breakfast wasn't included - when making the booking we firmly believed it was! Otherwise good bar and the bar men Alessandro is a good asset to the place!

Location was a bit of a walk from major sites. Good front desk help. Good people working the bar. Great maids. Very rude male host running downstairs restaurant (morning buffet breakfast). Room looked just like pictures on hotel site, did need some minor things repaired though.

Location is very good. Far enough out of the main tourist areas to have local feel, but close enough to still walk. I would sum this hotel as saying they were excellent at being average. I stayed 7 nights so got a good perspective. The rooms are clean and modern, but nothing special (not all rooms are renovated I believe)....

I visit hotel for a two days biz meeting. The room is ok, renovated with good bathroom. The wifi is poor. The meeting room was small with narrow tables (really difficult to work with laptop). The food was really good. Finally location of hotel is good with access to all touristic points

We started our Italy trip in Rome at Visconti Palace and we couldn't be happier. The room and bathroom were very clean and modern. I would recommend to add breakfast if you can. The breakfast buffet was filled with delicious pastries as well as your standard hot breakfast needs like eggs and sausages. The hotel is not situated right in...

We spent 3 days in Rome and it exceeded all our expectations. Hotel was nice, but rooms were small and a bit difficult to shower due to the size of the shower. Didn't spend much time in the room so not a problem.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your acknowledgement of our efforts. We truly lead with our service although our location, near the shopping center, museum and attractions, is a strong point. Many renovations have been made , so please be sure to come back and see our new offerings among a new modern bistrot on our lobby level opening...

We stayed in this hotel before and after a Holland America cruise and are glad we did. Located one block from Piazza Cavour, this modern hotel is well appointed, has good internet access, and the morning buffet which is included in the price of the room is outstanding. As first time visitors to Rome my wife and I were impressed...

Clean rooms, helpful staff and good breakfast. Located away from tourist crowds but within walking distance to Vatican, Pantheon other must see sights. Close to good reasonably priced restaurants. I would recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range hotel close to Rome's main tourist attractions. Hard to find because signage not very visible so have its address with you when...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
