We stayed at Casa Howard, Via Sistina, last fall for a week, and liked it enough that I booked at CH and got Capo le Case location for this February visit. My room was charmingly decorated (and I had a chance to peek into others, equally charming) and well appointed for the price. Yes, it's inconvenient having to go down...

We stayed at the Casa Howard on Via Sistina, and were more than disappointed. It was a roof over our head and a bathroom, but little else. The room was so tiny that the bed and tv stand occupied the enter floor, leaving no room for our suitcases. The so-called breakfast was worse than "cntinental," consisting of two cups of...

I stayed at Casa Howard for the long weekend and it was absolutely marvelous. I stayed in the room called Tommy and even though it was small, I couldn't have been happier with the service and the room. The staff was beyond helpful and we had breakfast in bed every morning which was also very good. The boutique hotel is...

Location would get 4-5 stars, but the service and dissapointing room conditions get a 2. I booked direct on their website, supposedly getting the best rates with added perks (according to the website). Before booking, my friend and I looked at all the photos, to make sure we were ok with any of the rooms we received, since the site...

Thank you for a very pleasant stay for 3 nights in July. The flower room was small but worked out fine for us. We enjoyed the breakfast served on the bed and the coffee was great. Close to everything - you can walk almost everywhere! Next time in Rome we will definitely stay at Casa Howard again!

My friend and I stayed in Casa Howard for four nights. The location is superb! When I return to Rome I think I will look for hotels in the same area! It's in walking distanse from The Spanish Steps, good shopping, the Trevi Fountain and so on. Upon arrival it looked nice and clean with it's own kind of atmosphere....

I stayed at Casa Howard with my sister for 5 days and the location couldn't have been more perfect! The hotel is just down the road from the Spanish Steps and is in walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Bus and Train terminus, and the Pantheon etc. We found it hard to find at first, and actually walked past it...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
