Very nice hotel in Rome city center. Wonderful and very service minded staff. Woukd have given it 4/5 if it was not for the standard of the room, which could need some renovation (does not feel that the pictures of the rooms corresponds to reality)....More
This is the second time we stayed here due to our first experience. The staff was very helpful. I can't commend Gianni, Angelo and Reda highly enough for their hard work. We ran into a personal issue that had nothing to do with them or...More
For a 3 star hotel, cortina was a great experience. The rooms were very clean, the room was quiet and the staff is impeccable. The staff goes above and beyond to show you plenty of hospitality and ensure you’re taken care of at all times....More

The location is perfect. Convenient to most sights within walking distance. Walking distance to the train. Reliable WiFi. Clean and comfortable room with AC. Staff is helpful and kind beyond our expectations! Will come back!!!
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

While the hotel is wonderful, and the location and service are perfect, it is a very small hotel with no communal area for the kids to go to when they get bored. Though we were only in the hotel for breakfast & to sleep, that's it. What will YOUR days be like in Rome? If you plan being out all day then I say go for it!
