I booked this hotel nearly 4 months ago, my choice being based upon the amenities I read over the internet (just as usually happens with all of us travelers). When I arrived there, they told me that I would stay in another hotel, Hotel Angel, 100 meters away from Hotel Sant' Angelo. The Angel Hotel DID NOT have a 24...

I am a Branch Manager at The Co-operative Travel and have travelled alot but never done many cities.. Rome was my favorite by a mile.. The hotel is on a side road by the river and 5-10 mins walk from everywhere, very clean and very friendly staff, on arrival it has a large grand entrance way which leads to a...

I have just returned from a three night stay at this hotel with my husband and had a lovely time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Nadia, and they couldn't do enough. The breakfast staff again were friendly and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate. The room was on the small side but as we only intended...

I stayed in Sant Angelo for 1 week, spontanuously booking a room after escaping Cairo demonstrations in Egypt. Im usually a more budget kind of traveller and thought I would treat myself with something nice and more costly in the heart of Cairo. I was somewhat dissapointed. The hotel comprises two separate builidings in the same street so if You...

The location of this hotel was the best thing about it. The bedroom was OK but noise from busy street and bin men came every night crashing up and down the street so sleep was difficult. Everything in the bathroom was useless. Toilet seat, toilet brush and pedal bin - broken. Washbasin - wouldn't retain water. Shower tray - leaked...

From first to last the staff were very efficient and helpful. Despite the reception being on the first floor which is a little strange at first, the whole ambience of the hotel is excellant. The lift is small (which goes with the building being very old), but 2 journeys got the luggage for all 5 of us upstairs easily. The...

Pro's - decent location - nice staff - real Italian rooms (small, cute) Cons - a bit away from the action - only a con, if you like to be in the middle of it all ! Favorite suggestion; - rent a scooter - nothing makes you feel more Italian, than driving around in traffic. You can reach all the...

The Hotel photos published on TA and most of the booking sites are misleading. The lovely guest lounge shown is not available to guests, photos of the reception area are also incorrect. The reception has been moved to a small area beside the entrance to the first floor bedrooms The only public spaces available to guests are the breakfast room...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
