Hotel is more a bread & breakfast place located on the second floor of an old builing. Rooms clean, the two patrons nice and helpful. Location also good, you can reach everything by foot. Still it is quite quiet for Rome. Breakfast is Croissants, fruit and Cornflakes that's it. Value for money okay, but bot a "real" hotel.

This is a fantastic base for a trip to Rome with very knowledgeable hosts who are happy to book restaurants for their guests. The rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for a days' sight seeing. The Spanish Steps are within walking distance and there are some good bars and restaurants nearby.

Very overdue in writing this review but still worthwhile 6 months later. Owners were amazing to help us plan our time in the city. Easy access to the city and taxis were quick to arrive whenever called. Restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were extremely clean and nice size considering typical hotel rooms in a major city.

It was our first time at The city of Rome and thanks to the amazing hospitality at Deko Rome we had a great time! Beautiful, clean and a real home away from home including a perfect service. A real gem!

B and B like atmosphere. Small room but very comfortable. Wonderful service and friendly staff. Very helpful in making reservations and providing information for shopping and sightseeing. Would stay here again and recommend it for others. Great location in Rome.

The reviews helped me select Deko and they were accurate. It's really a boutique hotel with an enormous breakfast and the hosts, Marco and Serena (together with Giulia who served me breakfast on 2 mornings) were all walking encyclopaedias and genuinely interesting and interested people. I had asked for a quiet room as I am a hopelessly light sleeper and...

This is a very modest homestay facility. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay location wise and if you don't care about amenities, than this place is a viable choice. The breakfast is included and it consists of coffee, and a plate with one croissant, sliced fruits and cold cuts. There are other major hotel chains around...

Marco and Serena were great. They helped me out with everything I needed and reassured me when Alitalia lost my baggage. I stayed there for 5 nights and will definitely stay if I ever come to Rome again.

The Deko is not a hotel. It is an urban bed and breakfast located across the street from the American Embassy. If you like grand lobbies, opulent decor and upscale bars, this isn't for you. If however, you want to feel like you are "home" while visiting this magnificent city, this is the place. It is located on the second...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
