Serena and Marco make the Deko unique. They happily provide advice on restaurants, shopping, reservations for tourist sites, anything you need, and they genuinely feel like your friends. The location--on a quiet street near Via Veneto and the US embassy--is an oasis from the city but close to Borghese gardens and the Spanish Steps and a plausible walk to everywhere...

We recently spent 4 nights at the Deko, and we had a great experience. The owners, Marco and Serena, couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The location near the US embassy makes for a comfortable walk to most of the major sites in Rome. Our room off of the breakfast room was spacious and very quiet. Communication with the Deko...

We cant praise this hotel and the owners enough. Marco and his companion, so sorry for not remembering your name right now were wonderful hosts and took great care of us. The room was very clean and nice, Marco always offered us drinks and snacks when he saw us. He also helped us explore the city and booked different restaurants...

I booked the executive room with lounge...

We have visited Rome numerous times and have stayed in various hotels. Deko Rome is by far the best place we have been. It is small, the location is superb, rooms are clean and tastefully decorated-all important features, but not what made this an outstanding and memorable trip. Marco, Serena, Julia and the "Night Guy", I'm sorry, I don't know...

Having stayed at Deko 4 years ago with my wife, we decided to return to Rome with our children and based on our last experience of Deko we booked again and it is fair to say we weren't disappointed. Marco and Serena were as welcoming as we remembered and they made us all feel at home instantly and the kids...

We found this place after extensive online searching & boy were we luck to find it. The rooms are clean & well equipped & the hotel is well located for days out around Rome. Breakfast is great with cereals, meats, bread & cheeses on offer. The thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. A sit down with Marco...

By chance, and with good reviews on Trip Advisor, my wife selected, from dozens or even hundreds of choices, for us to stay at Deko Rome for our first visit to Rome. I travel frequently, and the...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
