While Deko Rome is comfortable and beautiful, the stand out is the people and service. Marco, Serena and their team were fabulous! From accommodating our early arrival to getting a left behind cell phone to us at the airport, the service was excellence upon excellence. Serena took the time at our arrival to help us organize our Rome time, map...

The Deko is a small hotel of only 6 rooms located in an architecturally-regulated part of Rome, near the Spanish Steps. The building is lovely and secure, and the rooms magnificent with high (14 foot?) ceilings. The hosts, Marco and Serena are not only gracious but extremely knowledgeable. Taking advantage of their suggestions is a genuine perk of staying at...

This place is very, very nice! Serena/Marco thank you for all the perfect tips on places to see and eat and do. This ment a lot to us. It just makes all the difference. This place has a very good location and, and it is close to the Police station and the American ambasad so it feels very safe. Another...

We recently stayed at Deko Rome for three nights and were extremely pleased with our decision. Deko is a perfect place to stay if you want an intimate homey feel while staying in Rome. Both Marco and Serena go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and hassle free. I definitely suggest listening to their advice regarding transportation, itineraries...

We stayed for two nights as the guests of Serena and Marco at their Deko Rome. The visit was wonderful. We travel a lot for business and stay at the brand name hotels. We decided to try Deko Rome and have been smiling and laughing since we checked out an hour ago. From the warm welcome, the personal time Serena...

We were very glad we chose to stay here. The staff is awesome and the location is great! It's a safe neighborhood and not to long a walk to the sights. There is a little grocery store next door which was nice for snacks or beverages for the mini fridge. Breakfast was great and a good way to start off...

After reading all these reviews knew we would have a great experience. I was a little nervous when we pulled up and discovered it was in a building shared with other businesses. There was construction being done on the front of the building which made it hard to get into the building. That was where our concern stopped. We were...

Boutique feel and comfort with 5-Star service. Marco and Serena treated us like family. Rooms were well furnished with modern amenities and all the comforts of home. Marco's savvy travel advice cut through the tourist hassles, avoiding long lines and kept us on pace to see the very best of Rome with time to spare. Highly recommend Deko Rome!

We were warmly welcomed by Marco to Rome and to the Deko. Marco made arrangements for us for airport transfers, suggested restaurants and activities, unlocking the "secrets of Rome" for our enjoyment. Comfy, clean and modern. Would stay again and again!

This place is a find. We walked from the Roma Termini station in about 15 minutes, to a very warm welcome from Serena. She sat with us for about 30 minutes over a map of Rome sorting out our itinerary for a 24-hour stay in the city. By the time we stood up we had it all planned - an...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
