This is my 4th time at Small Luxury. arrived at the property and despite the room not being the one I asked for it was still nice, This year we had the added benefit of tea, coffee and kettle. The mini fridge was also full and reasonably priced. The room was clean. The breakfast is good if you like cake!! I...

Firstly the location is amazing, you can see the Vatican from the front door! We found it with ease and andrea met us on arrival and was extremely helpful and pleasant, he provided us with a map and talked us through where to find everything. Breakfast is delivered to your room at the requested time, let me tell you, this...

Is the view in the pictures you see real? YES! We were on the 5th floor of Small Luxury and had the most stunning view of the Vatican. We booked early (in February) for our early June stay. My husband is Italian and took care of the booking, speaking with Magda for initial questions and then with Andrea for parking...

We booked our room through hotels.com and we didn't know it was a b&b until we arrived. It says "Small Luxury" and we thought it was a luxury hotel. It was also our mistake not to do more research. The location of the hotel was good, the room had a great view of Vatican City. But the apartment block was...

Dear Tanya, the name of our structure is "Small Luxury B&B" so i guess is quite clear it is not an hotel, most of all considering the price of our room very far from a Luxury Hotel in the centre of Rome. Our b&b is located in a historic building of enormous value closed to the Vatican Area so mayby...

We stayed for 2 nights in April, and this little hotel had everything we needed! Excellent location, we could walk to everything easily. Safe and secure, and the rooms were clean and modern. Our friendly assistant checked us in and showed us the best places to visit and how to get around, which we appreciated.

I spent two nights at this hotel during a long weekend in Rome. The room was nice, tidy, and stylish with simple nice furniture and relaxing colors. The view from the window was UNBELIEVABLE: St. Peter 's dome was just there. Breakfast is continental and simple, with fresh pastry and a sandwich. The owner is friendly and helpful (he even...

Small Luxury was a very nice choice when I visited Rome. The room was nice, clean and comfy, very well located, 600m to the metro station, with buses in the square in front of the hotel and just next to the vatican city. The staff, Andrea, received us very well and also gave us a little guide about what visits...

I have stayed here before and 5 stars is what I would have said a year ago. The rooms are basic now, no mini bar, no safe, towels not changed at all as stated they would. No juice at breakfast and no healthy option for breakfast. No restaurant cards, However the location is great, it's the little things that matter...

The stay at small luxury was a great experience. Less than five minute walk to the Vatican. The only thing I would do different is rent one of the larger rooms. We could barely turn around in the room but it was clean clean clean! The staff were amazing with their customer service! We would definitely stay there again!

reviewing this for my parents. They arrived late last weekend after a delayed and diverted flight. I kept in touch with mariachaira via email and she was waiting on them when they arrived. *nothing to do with hotel but very bad experience at ciampino airport where taxi man left them on a country road about 5 mins from airport charged...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
