My wife and i checked into Domus Quiritum on our last day in Rome for two reasons; 1) the other place we were staying didn't have an opening for our final day in the city, and 2) This was very close to the Vatican which we had left for the said day's sightseeing activities. Not in the old part of...

We stayed for 5 nights and even before we were there, we had a wonderful conversation, a nice welcome and one of these excellent reservation in very beautiful and delicious roman restaurants. During our stay it was quite familiar, meeting Lucilla, Livia and Vera, talking about everything and being served like "good friends". They took a lot of their time...

We had a layover in Rome for just one night and our hosts at DQ B&B helped us maximize our time and made our stay fabulous. Not only is this B&B just the ticket ...great accomodations and very comfortable in a nice neighborhood, Lucilla and Emilliano took it over the top. As an extra, we arranged for Emilliano to pick...

We stayed at this Excellent B&B for 5 nights and it is one of the best we have been my wife and I since we started traveling abroad (and at home) for many years. The rooms (I saw them all) are quite large, comfortable, well equipped (good beds) and very clean. The bathrooms too are large, well equipped and very...

My husband and I have traveled for many years together and this is BY FAR the best place we've ever stayed! Lucilla waited up for us as we arrived around midnight and welcomed us with water and a smile. We had finally made it to ROMA! The following morning, Vera literally waited on us hand and foot with a traditional...

The b&b is located in an awesome position to visit Rome. Everything is within walking distance and/or easily reachable with public transportation. What is really the strong point of this B&B is the friendliness of the owners Lucilla and Alessio. They were really helpful for several things, from suggesting things to visit/ good places were to eat, to organizing transportation...

Location. Rooms. Baths. Breakfast. City. All Perfect. But what made our Rome unforgettable were Vera and Lucilla. Genuinely warm, caring, helpful and entertaining; our host standards have been reset. And we've been spoilt. Highest recommendations.

This is a the perfect place to stay if you are going to Rome. Its a relief not to be living close to the Spanish steps and piazza Navonna and the Vatican like so many tourists do. The flat is almost equidistant from all the best tourist sites and located in a very upmarket Rome residential neighbourhood. The restaurants close...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
