We recently returned from a three night stay at this perfectly located first class hotel. Our room was excellent, spotlessly clean and well serviced. The roof terrace and restaurant were a welcome addition although this was closed for a private party on our last evening at the hotel. The breakfast was very good and on the morning we left the...

A wonderful, luxury hotel in the heart of Rome. Easy transport links to underground train station from Barberini. Comfortable rooms, with luxury en-suites, and stunning views onto Rome's streets. Fantastic views of the city from the rooftop. Food not so great, but staff are nice and friendly - albeit a few communication problems from time to time. Very close to...

Very convenient, pleasant accommodation, great for site seeing. Hotel staff very helpful. Nice roof terrace although the sandwiches we had were past their best. Breakfast excellent, they even prepared a pre pack as we had to leave early.

Came here in late March for 3 nights only. As soon as we arrived the staffers at the front desk were very welcoming and accommodating giving us advice on how to get around. The room was very clean and just spacious enough. We particularly loved the shower. I had never seen or used a shower quite like that before, it...

wonderful hotel with attentive staff. easy walking to the Spanish Steps and various other sights in Rome. On a nice quiet street. great breakfast buffet with American and European options. The roof-top bar is way too spendy, but enjoyed going to the very top at night to sit and relax with great evening views.

We have just spent 4 nights at the savoy in Rome. We stayed in a classic double room which although the decor was dated it was immaculately clean and bathroom was luxurious. The room we had (501) was huge and there was a large dressing space we didn't really need but was nice to have. Location was good as long...

Lovely hotel in a quiet road, with other 4 star hotels. It is situated 5 minutes from the Spanish steps. Walking distance to all tourist attractions, 25 mins to coliseum and about 40 mins to the Vatican. Hotel reception staff charming. We were in one of the newly refurbished rooms which were tastefuly decorated with plenty of room. Our only...

Decent location hotel within easy access to all the main attractions. The room itself was clean and with a comfortable bed. It could improve with a mirror in the room which would also help reflect light around. The bathroom was nicely tiled in marble and clean. House keeping failed to replenish the toilet toiletries and sometimes the coffee and milk...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

“Wouldn't want a room on the front of the hotel again as outside although convenient there is a taxi point which ran through the evening and some drivers were inconsiderate in terms of noise especially as we needed the windows open as the weather was very mild during the night and we were on the first floor. ”
