An excellent hotel in Rome. Cosy bar and superb room in easy walking distance of key spots. Shame the rooftop terrace was not yet in operation. Didn't eat dinner at the hotel. There is a fantastic (and reasonable) restaurant 100 metres away, turning right from the front door.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April as part of a Perillo tour. Our luggage never made it to our room after we arrived. After an hour, we just went down to the lobby and picked up ourselves and carried it away, a little worrisome from a security point of view. This older hotel is conveniently located on a side...

this hotel was very charming and close to the attractions. Right across the street from Borgessi Park and close to the Metro. Very centrally located. Walking distance to Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here, for 3 nites, in mid-March, as arranged per Perillo's Tours. We found it to be a good choice. We arrived about 9am; the front desk arranged to secure our luggage and pointed us to their public washrooms to freshen up (very upscale/clean bathrooms). We then spent the morning walking to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, and...

Very good hotel, central location, easy access to almost most central locations of Rome. Very big room and bathroom-the latter lacked good cosmetic products, but not really a big problem. Staff excellent, reception excellent. Prices very good compared with other overpriced hotels because of the Holly Week..Loved Rome!

Very good hotel at the top of the Via Veneto and just around the corner from Rome's most expensive hotels. Good sized rooms, all bathrooms seem that have a recent makeover and very friendly and helpful staff. Great for a short break in Rome and in a very nice part of the city. Didn't book breakfast. The location of the...

The hotel was comfortable, small room but very little time spent there. Lots of walking around the sights and taking in the culture. Mid March requires warm clothing, weather for our week end stayed dry until we were leaving on the Monday (Frid/Monday) when it rained very heavily. Highlights not the rugby Ireland lost, Lunch on Saturday on the Piazza...

If the idea of a comfortable bed is 2 single beds shoved nearly together, but not even bound together meaning that for a big lad like me, I was sprawled across a gap and suffered accordingly, then this would have been ideal for you. The hotel is very elegant. Ornate in places in the Italian way. People look busy and...

Our room, Rm. 428, was small but the bed was comfortable. There was a safe in the closet and several English language stations. WiFi was free but access was spotty; try going to the lobby if the WiFi doesn't work in your room. The sound-proofing was good. The room was in need of a touch up because of scuff marks...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
