My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in August. We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Last year I stayed across the street at the Westin on Via Veneto and enjoyed the Boscola Palace so much more! The staff were so gracious and welcoming and helpful - from the bellmen to the front desk staff to the dining room and...

We were surprised with service we received at the hotel. It was around 9:30 am when we got in and we thought we had to wait till 3 pm for our rooms but they told us they would have them ready shortly ! Usually in our travels in Europe we have waited till afternoon to get into our rooms. The...

My wife and I stayed here during a trip to Rome in Feb, 2014. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the bar and the American/English style breakfast buffet in the mornings. The location is excellent, just across the street from the American Embassy. If you really have a hankering for something very...

This was our first trip to Italy. What a beautiful way to start off. Hotel is modern, clean and staff was wonderful. Stores, restaurants, shops, transportation as well as the beautiful Borghese gardens were one step away. We stayed at a palace and felt like royalty.

Wonderful hotel located across from the US Embassy and across from the Borghese Gardens. We were upgraded into a beautiful room and our teenage boys' room was very modern and cool. Service was excellent and the location was phenomenal! We also did our laundry at a local wash and fold laundromat right down the street by Barberini Plaza. Do not...

The hotel was very good especially the complementary breakfast spread. Added to that the location is excellent. We could get good transport facilities right at the door step of the hotel and all the important land marks are easily accessible.

After coming here from the Boscolo Excedra (a palace that's been converted into a hotel) we were expecting grandeur. Boscolo Palace delivered in so many more ways! They were extremely friendly, welcoming and actually got our room ready by 10AM so we could check in early- AMAZING! We got there at 9AM and they apologized for not having a room...

I will begin with the Pro's. It is a Marriott Hotel property...part of their Signature Autograph collection. Hotel is located in a beautiful quiet area of Rome, Italy right near to the Bourgese Gardens and Spanish Steps. They have wonderful places to eat in the area and comparable prices if you are from Manhattan. Rome, Italy in General is not...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
