Stayed here at the end of a three-week trip, and it was not a good note on which to end. It _is_ close to some attractions--but the experience from start to finish was poor. After some confusion about my reservation, the front desk attendant sent me up to my room. Opened the door to a giant mess--bed unmade, wet(?) towels in floor, etc. Went back downstairs. Front desk guy half-apologized. Got key for second room, in a different (older) part of the building. After navigating an 'interesting' elevator, got to new room. This room was _tired_--every single item in the room was torn, worn, askew, chipped, or needed paint. I should have just checked out but, road-weary, I sighed, dropped my bags, and went out for a nice dinner. After an uneasy night's sleep, I left the next morning early, getting treated to a lobby-full of cigarette smoke on my way out the door to the airport. A fitting ending to my stay. Would not recommend nor stay here again. Most disappointing hotel experience of this three-week trip.

Hotel is in great location, especially if you’ve never been to Rome - 2 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and you can go from there! So central which is needed if you plan on exploring Rome by foot. Raphael on the front desk was so warm and welcoming, nothing was an issue and was always happy to help with explaining where things where and the best way to get to get there (trains can be confusing if it’s your first time in Italy). Breakfast was good - juices, yogurts, breads/parties, coffee, eggs with bacon/sausage - nothing outstanding but service was always welcoming and was sufficient to keep you going all day. Overall pros: - LOCATION (which is really key if your main goal is to explore as much of Rome as possible - Spanish steps And Colosuem are maybe a 20 minute stroll away but you hardly notice it as here is so much to look at on the way) - Breakfast - perhaps not the most broad menu but guaranteed to have something you like. - Service - EVERY staff member we encountered always offered a warm smile, Raphael like I said was so helpful, the service at breakfast did not fall short either. - WiFi - this actually worked and worked fast which is rare in some hotels. Cons: - Air conditioning - we struggled a bit with this but eventually got it working a bit better (after pressing nearly all the keys on the remote), not the best but it was sufficient. - Only a minor fault but we only had one pillow each (I’m 100% sure this would have been sorted if we asked for another so really not a big deal but usually there would be seconds in wardrobes etc). I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would return here again as you really cannot beat the location and service :)

I stayed in September 2020, the hotel is in a great location (but is a little hard to find at the beginning.) The room was clean and tidy, on arrival the TV remote and Aircon were not working. The TV was fixed the same day and the Aircon the next day, it did make for an uncomfortable first night. The breakfast was a standard continetal breakfast. The staff were very friendly and polite throughout. The hotel lift doesn't always stop on the 4th floor as the door gets stuck. When visiting avoid the Euronet ATM's taking 20 euros from there would have cost me £24.92, while an ATM attached to a bank (nearest is UBI) only cost £18.52.

Very friendly staff and were able to answer all questions; No language barrier. This hotel is very well situated in the heart of Ancient Rome. Every location is within walking distance. The breakfast every morning was superb. I recommend this hotel.
