We booked this last minute when we decided to go back to Rome, and the price and location were what we were looking for. When we were taken to our 1st room it smelled strongly of smoke and we asked to be moved. After a bit of attitude from reception we were then moved to the 1st floor and to...

Possibly the most expensive hotel we have stayed in but far from the best. Booked at the last minute so found a limited range of decent hotels available -none at reasonable prices probably because it was Easter. Very nice, characterful accommodation, and a comfortable, spacious room for my family . The great location and time of year presumably accounted for...

Pros: Great Location Excellent staff--all spoke English, were friendly and very helpful. Never led us astray Clean room Beds comfortable Daily service with towels and cleaning Cons: Room was small Elevator was unreliable (we called it the adventure ride!) We had to go up to the fifth floor to get to the fourth, but we just got a kick out...

Small, decent hotel in a great location!!! Within walking distance to many of the major sights you must see when in Rome. Five minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 10 minutes to the Colosseum........ Can't say enough about the staff at the hotel, especially Raphaello who couldn't do enough to accomodate my family during our stay. We were in Rome during...

Although the hotel was a little higher priced, it was well worth it. It was within a 10 minute walk of all major sights except for Vatican City. The room was clean and good sized, front desk was helpful, breakfast was more extensive compared to others in Italy we stayed at, and a computer in the lobby provided a fast...

GOOD POINTS The location cannot be understated. It is within clost proximity to all locations except the Vatican (although we still walked there and back). The staff are very welcoming and friendly and they strive to please. Bearing in kind the hotel rating they were not able to provide us with a kettle in the room that we needed primarily...

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. However getting a drink at the bar proved less successful as the "porter" did not seem to understand that we wanted 2 glasses of red wine. No he did not have any and anyway the fridge was not working??? Our room was in usual italian style, sparse, tiled floor but a pleasingly...

We found this hotel on tripadvisor and relied on the great reviews in making our arrangements. We wanted a place where the hotel did what it needed to do in order for us to enjoy our visit to Rome and Hiberia was just right. On the service front, it was 5 star all the way -- Giuseppe and his associates...

We booked the Hiberia Hotel in Rome for Easter weekend and were pleasantly surprised on how nice it was for a 3 star. We got the Terravision bus from Ciampino airport and walked to the hotel within 15 mins from the bus termini. We could have got the 40 or 64 bus which stops at the bottom of Via 24...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and have to say the location is just perfect. You are 10/15 minutes from the major attractions. The rooms are not big but are just fine for a quick stay. The location is good as not on a major road and helps to keep the noise levels down. Breakfast was included...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
