We had read good reviews prior to going to Hotel Hiberia and they were all true. We had a great stay there. Excellent location, nice rooms and decor, good service and helpful staff, and good breakfast. The train station and major sights are within walking distance or an easy bus ride. The deluxe room is significantly bigger than standard room,...

We stayed at the hotel with our 3 young children. Our room (deluxe, quad) was great. Extremely comfortable beds [with new latex matresses]; beautiful bathroom; lovely terrace. Quiet, clean. Front desk was helpful but not intrusive. Gave honest advice and arranged taxis for us. Included breakfast was nice, convenient and had good variety and quantity. Location was convenient, but a...

We booked this hotel as part of a deal through an airline and therefore were not 100% sure of what kind of place we would be staying - we reasoned that since we wouldn't really be spending much time in our room, hotel quality wasn't necessarily a priority. We should say that we never booked for breakfast at the hotel...

When I read the hotel own info on it's location I was sceptical but it really is in the centre of old Rome. The Vatican is a fair walk, but the Trevi and Colloseum really are just around the corner and down the road. There is a road around the corner that has about a kilometre of shops on both...

Reaching the hotel from the train station is simple enough; go out the main entrance; cross the bus stop and walk ahead until you reach "Viale V. Einaudi" where you will find an obelisk on your left hand side; walk down the street and it will bring you to the large "Piazza Della Repubblica"; take left and walk until the...

We booked this last minute when we decided to go back to Rome, and the price and location were what we were looking for. When we were taken to our 1st room it smelled strongly of smoke and we asked to be moved. After a bit of attitude from reception we were then moved to the 1st floor and to...

Possibly the most expensive hotel we have stayed in but far from the best. Booked at the last minute so found a limited range of decent hotels available -none at reasonable prices probably because it was Easter. Very nice, characterful accommodation, and a comfortable, spacious room for my family . The great location and time of year presumably accounted for...

Small, decent hotel in a great location!!! Within walking distance to many of the major sights you must see when in Rome. Five minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 10 minutes to the Colosseum........ Can't say enough about the staff at the hotel, especially Raphaello who couldn't do enough to accomodate my family during our stay. We were in Rome during...

Although the hotel was a little higher priced, it was well worth it. It was within a 10 minute walk of all major sights except for Vatican City. The room was clean and good sized, front desk was helpful, breakfast was more extensive compared to others in Italy we stayed at, and a computer in the lobby provided a fast...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
