Very nice hotel in center of Rome. Near Trevi fountain and Pantheon. 10 minutes' walk to Piazza Navona and 30 minutes to any other main places of interest. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and good breakfast.

Incredible hotel. The staff were super friendly and were able to help with everything. Highly recommend booking the limo service through them to get to/from the airport, as the hotel is near a government building with security, and not all taxi drivers know how to get there. The room was lovely, breakfast was tasty.

we traveled to Rome and stayed at the Hotel Nazionale. I really liked the location of the hotel, the pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum within walking distance. Very spacious rooms, great view from the window. The hotel has a lot of beautiful paintings, there are wipes for removing makeup and also gel for intimate hygiene. The room has a large double bed and a sofa with an armchair. I really liked the hotel, I recommend it to everyone

We were highly delighted with our choice of hotel for our five day stay in Rome. The reception staff were instantly welcoming. We were shown to our rooms, with an overview of the room’s ample facilities. We were advised to make use of the free too safe (a great addition). The room was a large superior double - very comfortable and quiet, and we slept very well with crisp white bedding and comfy pillows. There was plenty of room, including a large sofa and coffee table, dressing table/desk, ample wardrobe with drawers. Coffee and tea is available in the room, plus a minibar (quite expensive). There are many lighting options and plugs sockets, with a wall mounted tv (offering limited English language channels but not a problem). The bathroom had a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and bidet - a wide range of toiletries, soft towels, and excellent mirror and lighting. The heating / air conditioning worked very efficiently and we were very comfortable. The breakfast dining was excellent, and was something that we looked forward to each morning (7-10am). Plentiful fresh food, lovely bread, cheese, fruit, bacon, eggs and gorgeous fresh orange juice. 10/10! The hotel location couldn’t have been better, ideally situated within walking distance of all the major historical and cultural sites in the city, the closest being the Panthenon. There are places to eat and drink at the turn of every corner, and the shopping experience is excellent. We have visited in January and if you’re planning a visit, January is an ideal time to skip the queues and miss the heaving crowds, plus the temperature was a pleasant 10-13 degrees! Our only hiccup was nothing to do with the hotel, rather our airport to hotel transport who dropped us off by the river due to access to Parliament Square, which left us with a not straight forward 10 minute walk to the hotel. So insist that you are dropped off and picked up at the hotel! Ideally a taxi but not a minibus! Overall, this was an excellent hotel stay and we will 100% be returning. We had a lovely time in the hotel. It is perfectly located to walk to the tourist sights and attractions. It’s located on a quiet square which is useful for a busy location like Rome. The breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. We would strongly recommend it to other visitors!

Hotel Nazionale is a large hotel located directly next to the Parliament building which is in the neighborhood adjacent to the Pantheon and Piazza Navone. It's also just a few steps away from one of the best gelati spots in the city, Giolitti Gelati, which may or may not matter to you but it was a bonus for us. This large hotel is a convenient and comfortable place to stay for anyone looking to have easy walking distance to many of the city's sights. We also thought it was a very good value given both the location and the comfort of the place. While you can get the impression that it was once a place of grandeur that has faded a bit, it also seems like many of the guest rooms have been renovated and updated. Ours was a smaller room overlooking the city's rooftops, with a bit of a view of St. Peter's dome. Very nice. Our room was quiet, spotlessly clean, with a comfortable king bed, a safe, and very good television and internet connections. The bathroom was smaller but modern with a good-sized stall shower, bathrobes, lots of towels, a bidet, and excellent toiletries and soaps. We were more than happy with it. As a measure of service, the battery on our safe had failed and we needed to get it replaced in order to use the safe. I reported the malfunction and housekeeping had someone from the office up to our room in very few minutes and the problem was taken care of. And in general, folks at the desk were helpful but primarily transactional; when we asked for any advice on sights or restaurants they were less resourceful, but always nice and trying to help. The hotel has a street level bar and lounge with a television (popular when we were there which was during the World Cup) and kudos to the breakfast crew -- the breakfast buffet, which spread into two rooms, was fabulous. Anything you could have wanted, including a hot breakfast, was both available and delicious. One tip: because the hotel is adjacent to the Parliament building, security surrounds the hotel which is reassuring but also tricky if you're driving to the hotel or taking a city taxi there. We were coming from the airport and had the hotel's car service pick us up (a good value compared with the price of a cab) which turned out to be a plus because their car service knew all the police around the hotel and had easy access to the front entrance. We would most definitely stay here again. …

Let me start by saying we are just a middle-class American family that always looks for the best hotel/motel prices before booking. We are beyond happy with this hotel. The location was by far the best location! We walked 5 minutes to the Trevi fountain every evening; if you see it during the day you must go back and view it at night as well, literally breathtaking! The hotel is a 15 minute leisurely walk to the Spanish steps and less than five minutes from the pantheon. The hotel felt very safe as it is right next to Parliament which had armed police and guards 24/7. You may read another reviews that cars can’t get to the hotel, but we took several taxis during our stay, and they pulled up right to the front door of the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, plenty big enough, bigger than American motels, and the water pressure of the shower was the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was very nice, and always happy to give tips and advise. The breakfast was plenty good enough to start a day of exploring. And the best part is when you step out of the hotel, you are less than 100 steps from the best gelato in Rome, Giolottis!…

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in November and had a great vacation. Highly recommend the hotel for its friendly staff who could not do enough for us. The rooms were clean and welcoming and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely view over the beautiful streets with the Pantheon and Altare della Patria in the distance. We asked for evening meal recommendations and Roberta in reception came up trumps with two fantastic restaurants - local family owned, great hosts with amazing food and very reasonable prices. You need to get reservations so don’t hesitate to ask any of the great reception staff. We had a wonderful stay and made the most of every minute as everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. The location was in the heart of the House of Deputies which meant no vehicles and continuous monitoring by the local constabulary - interesting and a very safe area of the city - not that we felt ever unsafe in this beautiful city. We would not hesitate to come back (and we will) and would recommend this to any first timers to this beautiful city. Very nice hotel to stay in. The location is excellent in a quiet square. The bathroom was a good size with nice toiletries replaced every day. The beds linen was of very good quality which added to getting a good nights sleep.
