Like all hotels in the old center this hotel is old but the rooms have been renovated with respect of the classic style. Nice lobby. Excellent breakfast. Experienced staff. Despite it good location ( Trevi quarter, near the parliament and not far from Pantheon) the hotel is quiet. No public transport in the quarter

Booked Hotel Nazionale as a surprise getaway for my wife and I on a spur of the moment sort of thing. Wanted the few days we would be in Rome to be special so upgraded to an Executive room and am really glad I did. I can't compare the room with a standard room but the one we were allocated...

Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were not huge but tidy and clean. Location was perfect and probably this hotel's major selling point. I would stay here again - bit pricey but if you want central this is ideal.

This elegant hotel has it all. It's in a great location, in walking distance to all the sights of Rome (it is literally 100 yards from the column of Marcus Aurelius, and 2 blocks from the Pantheon). It's very comfortable and beautiful, and even though the rooms are decorated in sumptuous antiques, the bathrooms are completely modern! But the best...

Ho amato stare qui. Grazie a tutti voi dello staff. The sight of the city at night, coupled with the nightly elegance of this place still makes me miss Rome. My recommendation is all in it. Staff is neat and professional.

Hotel Nazionale is a hotel where you feel welcome from the very beginning if your stay. The staff is so professional and always willing to help. Breakfast abundant. Rooms are very clean. The hotel itself is in the very heart of Rome. We have chosen this hotel for many years and we have never been disappointed!!

The Hotel Nazionale is perfectly situated for anyone wishing to explore Rome on foot. All the key attractions are within walking distance. The staff is professional, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious by European standards. The noise of the city is non-existent. The breakfast is delicious.

The hotel is situated at the piazza where the parliament is situated. I had a single room facing the piazza. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was small but beautifully furnished. I couldn't sleep the first night due to jetlag. So I spent most of the night watching the beatuiful piazza from my room, very memorable. The room...

We stayed at the Hotel Nazionale for one week and had an exceptional experience. The hotel was quiet, beautifully appointed and offered exceptional services. We enjoyed the breakfast and espresso daily, leveraging that time to plan and charge up for the day. We took advantage of a great hotel package to tour Pompeii and the Amalfi coast; if booking, be...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
