A couple of days in Rome, to show the city to my kids, and this hotel was quite a good choice. The room was not the biggest, and the kids slept on a sofa bed and on a 4th bed taken there for the occasion, but it was good enough. *** room *** A baroque room, very nice and well...

We booked last minute at the Barberini Hotel and have had a very positive experience. The staff are accommodating, the breakfast is delicious, the hotel is lovely. Rooms are small but quaint with updated bathrooms and all of the wonderful Italian charm. The location is spectacular just blocks from Trevi and center to nearly everything we wanted to see. Highly...

The hotel was nice outside and inside. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map of Rome upon arrival and hi-lighted all the must see locations. The room was very nice and had a mini fridge, the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was nice and big.. the only downfall was the shower. It was a bathtub which...

Myself and 5 others in my family (all adults) stayed here for 3 nights last week. We had 3 rooms which were 2 doubles and 1 twin. We found the rooms spacious, clean and well facilitated. Mini bar was surprisingly reasonable and included breakfast was very good- sweet touches for valentines too and prompt top ups/ waitressed hot drinks. The...

Hotel Barberini was a great find for a short break in Rome. It is a small hotel (approx. 35 rooms) in the Barberini area of Rome - about a 10 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain (up/down a small hill) and within 30 min walk of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill etc (up/down a longer hill). There is an easy to...

My Mum, sister & I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel Barbarini. Firstly even though 3 adults were booked into a junior suite, the hotel only accommodated for 2 - two sets of towels, 2 key cards, 2 robes and the bed wasn't made up for the 3rd person. The bath leaked BADLY after every shower...

Located in the ideal place of not exactly in the center but at the same time central - 10 minutes away from the Fontana di Trevi and very near churches, museums, restaurants and metro. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and food in the spectacular roof restaurant and strong WiFi. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Having stayed at this Hotel several years ago, my family eagerly looked forward to our return visit. We were disappointed. Our return was lukewarm. Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
