A great clean hotel with excellent caring staff who made us feel very welcome. The location is superb and easy to walk to from nearest subway. For those who wish to explore Rome, this is an excellent base.

Hotel Pantheon is conveniently located. My wife & 3yr old son walked to several tourist attractions during our stay. This made for an efficient use of our time. Lots of eateries on the block! Plenty of people watching opportunity too!

I recommend the hotel 100%. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Location was fantastic, 20 mins front the Vatican, 5 mins from the Trevi, 15 minutes from the colosseum and the forum. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Wonderful location, very clean, comfortable beds. So close to the pantheon, lots of good places to eat on the same street. A little noisy at night but worth it if you want to be so close to all the sights, would definitely return.

My fiance and I were visiting Rome (and Europe) for the first time - I chose Hotel Pantheon because of the proximity to attractions and its location in the heart of the city. I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our stay! The facility is beautiful. The rooms have everything you need - beds are comfortable, bathroom/shower works well....

Overall it was good, one room was perfect. The other one had issues in door opening but also in hot water. For a 4 star hotel, it is mandatory not to have this kind of problems during the customers' stay.

Very good location of the hotel Pantheon; several nice "trattorias" and shopping nearby. Easy to reach and good communications a short walk away. Nice breakfast and very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is placed in an excellent location. You can go by walk to tue several touristic sites and the there are lots of restaurants where you can have a good meal at night. The employees are all kind and open to talk and help you when necessary. Indeed, I recommend.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less
