This is a good boutique hotel in close proximity to the termini - a short walk. We loved the centrality of the location. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is also within walking distance to some of the tourist sites. The hotel rooms are compact and the furniture dated but clean and neat. Breakfast...

My husband, daughter and I took a quick last minute trip from Strasbourg to Rome back in October. After reading all the reviews we needed a place close to the train station. The reviews were all very good, so we decided to stay here. It was very nice, clean and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful....

We have done detail research for at least 30 different hotels in Rome near the Termini Train station before decided on this hotel. This hotel did not disappointed us. it is within 2 min. from the Termini metro and railway station, yet it is very safe and quiet with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. 2 km from the landmark...

The best thing about of our 5 night stay at this hotel was the two desk clerks - Luigi & Natalie. They went out of their way to help us. We blew fuses 2x in the room with our adaptors and they patiently reset them and told us where we could buy replacement adaptors. They gave us guidance, directions, helpful...

We needed a hotel near the train station for one night as we were flying out the next morning. Amadeus Hotel was a perfect location just down the street from the train station. Staff was very friendly, breakfast good, and very clean room with a good value for the location. The room was small, but sufficient for one night. Probably...

Stayed here for one night at end of cruise. Great little hotel in good location, near to Roma Termini for buses and trains. Staff really helpful and friendly. We stayed in a superior room which was very nice, really clean, had nice big shower, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar and safe. Room overlooked the road which was a little noisy...

The room was dated and small. But the bathroom had a recent reno. Close to Termini Station, good restaurants near by. A stroll down the street and there is the beauty of Rome everywhere. Rome is expensive, this place was okay. Staff were great. The breakfast on the first floor was reasonable.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and speak good English. The rooms are clean too. There are a lot of restaurants/café with nice and cheap food near the hotel. The hotel is only 3 minutes walk to the Termini metro/Terminus train station. We enjoyed our 4 nights stayed in Amadeus Hotel. We will stay at this hotel again on our...

I stayed in their "Superior Double Deluxe Room" for 3 nights in August, alone. I didn't make use of breakfast or other dining, so I cannot give an opinion of them. The receptionist(s) I've had the pleasure with have been very warm and friendly, also helping me with information, tips and advice about the city. Coming back to the hotel...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
