We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Location is great; walking distance to major attractions, 10 minutes from Termini train station, Rome opera theatre just around the corner. Hotel is clean, stuff helpful, we even got discount vouchers to local restaurant. Breakfast was included with simple continental menu. I would stay here again.

We booked this B&B over 6 months in advance based on Rick Steve's recommendations. We were very pleased with the service, size and decor of the room, and comfort of the bed. It is within walking distance from Termini station and Pizzeria Est Est Est. We took the train from Civitavecchia to Termini stayed one night and the Leonardo Express...

The hotel is situated close to Termini station and only a 15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. Shops and restaurants very close by and also very close to the main stop for the open top bus tour, which is a must for all first time visitors to Rome.

We liked the proximity of the hotel to the Roma Termini. We enjoyed the food and service at the Cotto restaurant which had an arrangement with the hotel.. Excellent food and prices. We appreciated the shuttle service to the airport and the box breakfast that went with it!

We chose this hotel because of it position, within walking distance of the main station for easy access to the airport (5-10mins). The reception is situated on the street but the hotel is on the third floor, accessed by another entrance. The room was small, but adequate for a city break, colourful and well fitted out. Our room looked down...

Convenient location. Close to Termini station and underground stops. Walking distance to Colosseum and Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. Beautiful churches in the area. Comfortable, well-appointed room. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast bar. Room could use more light. Small elevator.

Overall good experience. Close to train station/metro and staff was very helpful. Room was clean and roomy enough. Street noise was a distraction/irritant in the morning, especially as Romans love to use their horns. Overall, good experience though.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
