The hotel is 2 mins from the top of the Spanish steps. There is a lot of shops nearby both high end and mid range stores. It's approx.15 mins to the trevi fountain, piazza Venezia and trevi fountain. It was perfect for us as we didn't want to spend money on transport. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.Good size room and... More

I booked a two night stay at this hotel September 21 thru September 23. I requested a triple room since we are traveling with our 12 year old daughter. As I read the prior reviews, they are mostly correct. The location is the best thing about this hotel. For starters, the shower in the bathroom did not have a curtain,... More

I was worried about this hotel given all the negative reviews. I'd left it late to book and there was very little available. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a very small single room which was cheerful and immaculately clean with good working air conditioning and no problem accessing the wifi. The room wasn't on the street so I didn't... More

My taxi driver didnt know and we both almost missed the sign on Via Sistina, but the location is good for shopping, also close to Villa Borghese, not to mention Piazza Espagna.Everything compact, from reception to room, and there's a little stairway...

The only good about this hotel was its location. And its renewed room (not bathroom). The room was near the reception and next to the breakfast room,so everytime someone asked for an espresso, the lady who made coffee hit our wall.We woke up at 7:30...The windows were old so,everytime a car passed or people talked, you could hear like they were in the room.And... We checked in early afternoon for a 2-night stay; our 1st floor room was hot, the A/C control cover was missing so no way to tell what level it was on; the A/C unit was right above the door and very noisy. We were excited about going out right away to start seeing the sites in Rome, so we didn't... More

Checked in and was given a really nice sized room with a larger bathroom. However when we went to turn on the air conditioning nothing happened not even the fan worked. Talked to the front desk and they stated that "air conditioning was not turned on in the entire hotel because it was not hot enough out yet." It's June... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
