Beautiful, simple, clean hotel. Friendly staff. 2:30 check-in time with area to leave your luggage if early. No elevator. Breakfast has great coffee options - ask the staff for a cappacino and they will make one from upstairs.
My wife and I booked the hotel for 6 days (last week 2016) and we are fully satisfied. Clear room, usefull location (near Termini railway station) and helpful staffs added positive emotions from Rome trip.

Myself and my partner loved this hotel as a young couple.
We came here very last minute (no booking) and the price was very good.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

We travelled throughout Europe by train and hence all our accommodation was close to train stations. However,we flew out of Rome airport, and went by a car that was booked by our travel agent. We were collected at 8.30am for a 12.30 pm flight. The car ride took quiet some time as we were in the morning peak.
