The hotel is just off Via Venetto across the street from the USA Embassy. You can walk everywhere from this location. The staff is top quality, and the food is excellent. A full service hotel, reasonable rates, near excellent food, shopping, and ALL of the sites! Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Rose Garden Palace for three nights with our two boys, ages 10 and 6. The hotel and our room were top notch. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and a had a great workout in the gym. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the staff was friendly and professional.

This is a smart comfortable hotel in a very quiet part of Rome, opposite the American Embassy and just a 15 minute walk from the Spanish steps. Rooms are not overly large but the bed was huge and extremely comfortable with good linen. The bathroom was compact but perfectly adequate. The bedroom doors slammed shut rather noisily so you could...

There were parts that I liked and parts that I didn't, there were folks who were attentive to serve, and others who weren't. So overall I'd say the hotel is average. If service was wonderful across the board then despite the location I would likely rate this property better. I had an opportunity to stay in this property twice in...

This was the least favorite of the 4 hotels on our 2 week trip to Italy. That being said, it was still pretty good. We enjoyed the location and knew ahead of time that it was a little bit further walk from some of the main tourist sites (about 20 minutes to Trevi Fountain and 45 minutes to the Colosseum)....

This was our first visit to Rome. The Rose Garden Palace was an excellent place to stay. The location is beautiful, but it is a brisk fifteen minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. We were very slightly disappointed that we didn't have more interaction with the Staff in the hotel. However, this was through no fault...

Nice and comfortable rooms with fresh and modern styling were the main reason to book this hotel. Our family trip was a great pleasure due to the friendly service and the great breakfast buffet. The location is reasonably close to the Metro (subway) and to nice restaurants as the Osteria Quaranta Quattro in Via Aureliana just two blocks away. The...

We stayed at this hotel the first weekend in March in a superior room and found it to be of excellent quality with helpful staff and exceptionally clean and well managed. It is directly opposite the American Embassy and within easy walking of the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain (which is a must visit at night) Barberini square and many bars,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
