My daughter and I left this hotel this morning after a 3 night stay. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and will do what they can for you happily. The room we had overlooked the court yard and was a very pleasant size indeed. We had a queen sized bed, that was firm, but comfortable a dresser, sofa, chair and...

We were really surprised that this hotel was so good at such a reasonable price. The rooms are large well appointed and comfortable. The hotel was really clean and in very good repair. The restaurant was pretty good but had a limited menu for evening meals. Breakfast was a buffet style which literally catered for all tastes. If you want...

Stayed 4 nights & was impressed with the size of the room . Squeaky bed was frustrating as my partner is a restless sleeper . Great hot water at night but only warm in the mornings . Breakfast was fresh & plentiful . Would stay again if hot water was available & bed was fixed .

This is not a 4 star hotel by any means but it does have incredible staff who went to a lot of trouble to help out two Australians who could not speak a word of Italian. If not for the assistance we received from the front desk, our luggage we were trying to send to Venice never would have arrived...

It's difficult to find fault with this lovely hotel, located an easy 10 minute walk from Termini station. Two other metro stops are within short walking distance. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean, large, modern, quiet and bright, and the price fair considering a buffet breakfast and wifi are included. The only negative for me was the hard mattress...

Friends and I recently stayed at Domus Australia for 3 nights before heading out on a tour of Italy. We booked as the tour departed from there and it seemed easy. It's been a long time since I've been to Italia and I'd forgotten about hard beds and pillows! The hotel is located in an okay position, very easy to...

The rooms are large, clean and have been renovated with up to date fittings. Large ensuite and was very comfortable. Is a little bit of a walk into Rome but is close to the Rome Termini station and a large supermarket. Small buffet breakfast but enough options for most people. Food was fresh and delicious.

Not sure what to expect but turned out to be an inspired choice. The place is very well located within an easy walk of the Station and attractions such as Trevi and the Pantheon. The Australian breakfast is outstanding and recommended. Why not 5 stars - room is a little compact and the fittings are a little loose. Would highly...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
