Our group of four booked 2 hotel rooms here in March. Much more character that chain hotels - I loved the "old fashioned" (for U.S.) elevator. Staff was very friendly and breakfast is included. The weather was beautiful and rooms were a little warm so we had our windows open. Since our room was at the front of the hotel...

The hotel is located walking distance from Roma Termini and to most all the great monuments of Rome. The hotel itself is pretty basic and on a rather busy street, so if you are concerned about street noise, request a room which does not face the street. The room we had was in front and across the street from the...

Stayed here 3 nights in April. I used Booking.com to make the reservation and so I'll start with dispelling a few myths. Firstly, it's only 10 minutes from termini Station if you jog not walk. Even using a maps app as directions its at least 14. Maybe not a lot to you, but lugging cases that far gets the heart...

Dear ac17mb, Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share your experience. I’m glad you enjoyed our breakfast and that you appreciated the work of our housekeeping team. They will be proud to hear your compliments. The classic room amenities doesn’t include water cooker but we can provide the tea/coffee making facilities for a small fee....

The hotel is older, but is nice. Our room had plenty of room, the bed was comfortable with extra pillows if needed. Hotel staff was always helpful. The elevator is small because it's old, so was harder with large luggage. Shower water pressure wasn't very good and very inconsistent on temperature. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel has a good location, some 10 - 12 min walk to metro and some 20 - 30 min walk to most popular tourist attractions. Some really nice restaurant nearby; La Giovanni, La Lambada and the very best of the nearest is La Pentolaccia. Hotel is clean, quiet and the male receptionists are really helpful, polite and speaks good English...

Dear Annelari, Thank you for posting a review on Tripadvisor. It is good to hear that you appreciated our central location and took advantage of the great variety of restaurants in the neighborhood. I’m glad you found a good value for your money with us. We have recently upgraded our wi-fi system in the hotel. The signal is strong and...

The room was very nice, very clean. the breakfast was great, something new each morning, and enough for everybody. The location is perfect for a city-break, near the train station, near a metro station and on a few minutes walk from some of the city atractions, on a street full of orange trees. For sure, on the next trip to...

Delightful little hotel only 10 minutes walk from the main metro terminus and a number 62 bus stops right outside and goes to the Capital Hill area in the centre of Rome. The staff couldn't be more helpful organising taxis etc. For a very reasonable price they arranged for us (4 adults) to be picked up at the airport and...

This hotel is basic, but has everything one might need to stay in Rome city center. The entrance steps are not wheelchair friendly - however most places in Rome are not wheelchair friendly. All staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff spoke good English. Breakfast was self-service - available: good variety of coffee, bread, crossants, scrambled egg, bacon, ham, cheese,tomatoes,...

I stayed at this hotel for a week and a half and it was very enjoyable. The staff were all very kind and helpful! A nice quirk to the hotel is that they have a very cute old timey lift! The rooms were of decent size and cleaned everyday.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
