Thanks to its central location and its proximity to urban public transport, the Cilicia Hotel is well connected to the endless sites of historical and artistic interest of the Eternal City. Its location, its parking lot, and its large garden certainly enhance the value of our hotel. Nice hotel in this price range. Free parking. Good breakfast. Free internet. Clean with the good staff. Near bus stop. By bus you can be in historic center( Colosseum) in 20 minutes. It is not a Trusteveri ,but it's a real Living part of Rome with a shops and cafe.

we travelled from 3am only to find when we turned up the hotel was all locked up and no one was about to help us!....no one had been in touch with me to tell me it had closed down so after a long day we were left stranded ..stressed ...and very scared.....i found out it shut down for 2 months so they had plenty of time to tell me...WARNING,DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNTIL YOU ARE SURE IT HAS RE-OPENED .

Stayed here for 10 nights in August 2019. Staff very unhelpful and rude. Tried to overcharge on city tax which had already been paid for through travel agency. Not disabled friendly and insisted on 2nd floor room with wheelchair that didn't fit in the room unless folded down. No compassion or assistance.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Helped us with arranging taxis at silly o’clock. Rooms were very basic but the bed was very comfortable. 30 minute walk to the colosseum which is good as it is very close to the other attractions. Found the restaurants near the taxi rank were good.
