This is a wonderful small hotel/residenza in an excellent location. Very close to the Roma Termini train station, which makes it easy to catch the train from the airport to the station and walk the short distance to the Hotel Cellini. It is also walking distance to the Colosseo, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and other attractions. It is also very close to the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. While in Rome we were fortunate to see Tosca at this wonderful opera venue. The rates cannot be beat! Rooms are large and clean and quiet. Breakfast is offered if you want it and it is a good price for the selection offered. The staff is amazing! Helpful and professional. My traveling companion and I stayed at the Hotel Cellini for a week and enjoyed every day we were there. The staff even treated us to Prosecco and snacks near the end of our visit. Highly recommend the Hotel Cellini! …
I have been frequented Cellini for many years and it is always a wonderful experience. They did not disappoint on my recent stay. We had a large group and they handled everything to give my clients and awesome experience. I can't wait to come back next May.
Amazing location and lovely staff. The rooms are so quaint with lovely details. You are a stones throw from the station and can walk to all the main attractions. On arrival the gentleman at reception spent ages talking me through the best places to go in Rome and best way to get there - highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Rome. We will be back
I found the staff to be very friendly. We stayed in this hotel twice during our trip to Italy and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Special regards to Donato who we met many times. The hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a building. The downstairs lobby and stairway are very shabby but the hotel itself is lovely. It is close to the train station, so an easy walk after arriving from a long trip.
This was our first stop in a three-city tour of Italy and was, by far, the best hotel that we stayed in. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. The cleaning and breakfast staff were friendly and attentive to whatever we needed. A special thank you to Donato, who welcomed us warmly and treated us like family. This is the only hotel we would consider staying in, if we are fortunate enough to return to Rome. Grazie, tutti!!
Stayed there May 2022. Suite for three people. Absolutely fabulous, best hotel on this trip. Room had great genuine feel to it, not one of those faceless modern hotels (see pics). Bathroom immaculately clean, with everything you need, including jacuzzi bath! Powerful hot shower. Someone mentioned "leaked shower and not working AC". First, practically all Italian hotels have this half-screen, which has to be watched carefully - make sure it is fully closed, and sometimes you may need to put something underneath to prevent it from moving. Second, Italian AC is never as powerful as in the US. You have to make sure you understand how it works. Sometimes you need to doublecheck it is on, and make sure the temperature is set correctly. Given all that, AC worked great and the shower was excellent. Location is perfect - close to the Rome central station, metro and walking distance to important sites. Rome is rather large, so you will never have everything nearby, but this is pretty much as good as it gets. The only negative is breakfast. It is served on a lovely terrace, but is very, very basic. Still, it does the job, and other things considered - especially the low price! - I would still stay there again.…
The location was great, there were many issues with the room. The shower leaked and there was very little concern from the gentlemen at the desk, the ladies tried to help. The room was extremely hot and had no air conditioning, even though it was advertised that it did have air conditioning. The WIFI never worked correctly, I was constantly going out and had to use the signal from a different room. The check-in time is 11:00 we were there at 10:55 and had to wait an hour for the room to be ready.
This quaint family owned hotel hits the mark in every way. The staff is accommodating, the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is just wonderful. We stayed here with a group of 14 travelers. The breakfast area is perfect for meeting to plan the day.
We had a great 4 day stay! Hospitality was top notch, especially for our large group with a great deal of luggage. Lovely breakfast every morning. Very clean and cautious regarding Covid. We highly recommend.
We had stayed in this lovely small hotel a few years ago, so upon returning to Rome, this is where we wanted to stay. Since we were to be in Rome at the beginning and end of our holiday, we booked a double room with breakfast for 3 and then 2 nights. Booking through the hotels website, we also arranged to be picked up from the airport for a rate of €55, which is payable by cash to the driver. This worked very well, as we were arriving at night. Due to the closeness of the hotel to Termini, though, you could easily catch the Leonardo Express from the airport for €14/person. We appreciated the prompt replies regarding specific questions and their easy to use website with immediate confirmation of your booking. The hotel is on the 2nd & 3rd floor. Access is gained by a small lift, of antique cage-like design. Very atmospheric. The design and decor of this hotel made us feel like we were in Rome as opposed to a generic hotel. We received a friendly and welcoming check in & allocated Room 5. A lovely, spacious quiet room with a balcony overlooking an internal courtyard. There is tea/coffee making, wifi can be relied upon, a safe and tv. The bed is very comfortable. The ensuite is spacious too. There is a jacuzzi bath with shower over it. A drying rack also. Plenty of room to put your own toiletries too. Breakfast is in a pretty room on the 3rd floor behind reception. Its served buffet style and is a continental breakfast. This is a well cared for smaller hotel with charming hosts, comfortable rooms in a great location close to transport hubs. Its easy walking distance to many of the sites tourists & close enough to walk to Termini, metro & bus station. We subsequently needed to cut short our holiday, & they have a no fuss easy cancellation system on their website. We recommend staying here if you like smaller hotels.…
