The hotel is located in a good area Prati not far away from the Vatican City and Angel's castle. There are a lot of good places for dinner nearby. It took us about 15-20 minutes walking to the city centre. The room we were given was really big and cozy, the staff were nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our... More

We stayed for 3 night's in this amazing hotel. Situated close to The piazza Cavour. Ideal for walking to The Vatican, Trevi fountain & The Spanish steps. We were upgraded to a superior suite which was extremely comfortable. The breakfast menu is vast with omlettes & eggs, scrambled or fried cooked to order. A wide variety of bread, meats &... More

Although we arrived at the hotel early our room was ready. Front of house staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and modern and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. The roof terrace which was open for breakfast and in the evening was superb. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety to satisfy all tastes. Could... More

The hotel overall was lovely - clean, helpful, nice rooms and friendly staff and in a quiet location that was only 15 mins walk from the Vatican or across the river to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona etc. Lots of small, local restaurants nearby for lunch & dinner but breakfast is served on the 6th floor roof terrace which has spectacular... This hotel is in the perfect location. Most attractions are in walking distance. We found the hotel to be clean quiet and has the most friendly helpful staff I have ever come across. If I had a small moan it would be no coffee/tea facilities in the room for that really early start but we found a cafe very close... More

We stayed in October 2016. It was a very clean hotel with a beautiful roof terrace. Great view of the Vatican from the Terrace. The area was quiet and somewhat residential with good eating choices there as well. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. We liked the location and its proximity to the Vatican, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Staff was... More

Selecting a hotel in a city, and Country for that matter, never visited before, can be a somewhat daunting task! We set about this, with Italy being our destination Country and Rome and Venice being the cities visited, mainly with the assistance of Tripadvisor and Google Maps. The Hotel of choice for Rome, after reading countless reviews for this and... More

This is a great hotel in a very convenient quiet area of Rome. Located between Vatican City and Old Rome it is an easy walk either direction. The breakfast was excellent. The rooftop restaurant/lounge had a breathtaking view. This hotel has an interesting mix of modern and vintage style rooms so if you are not happy with your room style... More

If you enjoy old Rome and want to walk to all the major attractions you should book a hotel east of the river. However this is a very nice boutique hotel (NO AC) with a Terrace restaurant view of St Peter. Prices are high but less than east of the river. If you want to ask the desk a question... More

The Hotel Isa is a stone's throw from Vatican City but in a quiet, residential area of Rome away from the tourists, but very near restaurants and bars, and walking distance to the Vatican. The hotel has probably the BEST VIEW OF THE VATICAN from their rooftop terrace. Go there for drinks in the evening to catch the Vatican view... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
