The hotel was clean enough and the room was o.k. The staff spoke very little english and some none at all. They were of no help with attractions or restaurants. The hotel is to far out of the way and we were out a fortune on taxis. They advertised a tourist desk. Not that we saw. No maps, no brochures,...

My Wife and I had a short break in Rome stopping at the Giotto. The Hotel is clean and tidy with friendly staff. Breakfast is continental on a help yourself basis. The rooms are small and you get what you pay for. The big downer is the distance you need to travel. Do not believe that the Cornellia Metro station...

The Hotel is clean and cheap...what more do you expect! Yes the rooms are really small, but they ARE cleaned daily to a good standard and everything worked. The bathroom is also tiny - the shower too - yes it can be difficult to bend over and wash ones feet!!! Recommend you ask for at least a first floor room...we...

300 metres from Cornelia Metro more like 300000! and all uphill. Upon arrival my husband and I were told that although we booked 5 months prior to our trip they only had two SINGLE rooms. We asked if they had a double as booked 'No sorry and the manager is on holiday. Don't worry we will give you a double...

The hotel is friendly enough but not quite as the description. I did not see a bar nor a restaurant, except the basic room where a buffet breakfast was served. The breakfast was fine. There is nothing much nearby and some brochures say the hotel is 300m from Cornelia Metro station. It is MUCH further though you can get a...

I stayed at the Giotto for 10 days in August and was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They had been recently refurbished and were clean and spacious. The breakfast was a joke but thats the same with most continental breakfasts! There is nothing to do around the hotel as it is in a residential area but it is only 15...

My first night, they put me into the tiniest room I have ever seen in a hotel. A foot longer than the bed and about three feet wider. When I complained, I was moved to a slightly bigger room, but the shower was so small, I couldn't even reach to wash myself. The electricity also failed one night while I...
