The room was small but updated. Only shortcomings were lack of ice machine on the floor, had to ask the staff for ice from the kitchen. We got a room on the first floor & the window looked out into the patio where people would come & go from so we really could not open the shades without people being...

We stayed in a ground floor room and when I walked into the room, I was honestly impressed by the size of the bedroom. The bedroom is roomy by European standards and I would say is comparable in size to most U.S. hotel rooms. The room is clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. As others have mentioned, there isn't...

This was my first time staying in a three star hotel, I would normally have avoided anything below a four due to the things normally associated with a three star. However as it was a brand new hotel I thought I would take the risk. Upon arriving at this hotel the area surrounding it was not great to look at,...

The smooth hotel is very tiny but has very cute rooms. The hotel is very new and clean. Not that far from main attractions. Service is okey. Overall recommend for couples or for people traveling solo per room.

The hotel was small, modern, very clean and friendly. Very welcoming on arrival, the guy on the reception gave us a map, circled and took the time to explain how to get to the most popular tourist destinations which was a great help. Not too far away from everywhere you needed to get to. Breakfast was good. A great choice...

This is a small, trendy hotel where the staff actually wanted to help their customers! They were all very keen to ensure our stay was the best they could offer, which was a nice surprise as a lot of places we've stayed in have some staff who really couldn't care! Nothing was too much effort for them and they were...

The hotel is clean and friendly. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and you have a great selection. Greats you ready for a day of sightseeing. During my stay I had no concerns or complaints and would definitely return.

Stayed here for four nights and have no complaints, only positive feedback. I had made my reservation through a third-party website and for some reason it had not come through to the hotel. The person working at the check-in, David, handled the situation very well. He was able to sort me a room and also sorted out the issue with...

Seriously could not have asked for anything better. It's such a huge relief to stay at a place where everyone is so welcoming and kind. We stayed for one week and didn't have a problem. Great location and close to everything! We walked to many of the famous cite seeing locations and ask close to the tour buses bus stop!...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
