Fifth stay at this hotel. In a great position for visiting most places and close to Barberini metro station. Had a great room, breakfast good. Staff friendly particularly Peter who was always receptive and good for a chat. Be back in 2018 hopefully.

Myself and my boyfriend (both early 20's) stayed here for 4 nights in January. Before going I had read online to request a "newer room" so I sent an email asking for that. When we arrived we didn't get a newer room but the room we did get was just a slightly more dated version with an older style bathroom....

Just returned from a stay at Hotel De Petris with my partner. We both agree we would stay here again if we visit Rome however we wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends. It's location is ideal and we were able to walk to every main attraction so it is very convenient for travellers looking for a base from which to...

Dear Guest, Sorry about your comment, especially concerning our staff and breakfast. Our staff is always prompt and kind with our guest doing its best to make their staying a special one and we are sorry you think they did not meet your needs. Concerning breakfast all the things you listed make of our buffet a rich one so we...

Just returned from a stay at Hotel de Petris and my first visit to Rome. If I was to return to Rome I may consider staying here again but I wouldn't necessarily encourage others to rush to stay here. If Trip Advisor offered a 'good' rating, I would give Hotel de Petris this - 'average' seems mean, but I wouldn't...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are glad you appreciated your staying in our Hotel but we are sorry your rating choice is based on the average of Tripadvisor rating. In any case we are also sorry you had problems with the heating and power (unfortunately this things are quite annoying when they happen in winter time) but...

Best thing about this hotel is the location not far from Trevi fountain and very convenient. We walked everywhere. However, hotel room was tiny and very bleak. There was a window but it looked onto the courtyard (really just a corridor) and we kept the shutters closed. Breakfast on roof terrace which is a nice setting but food not that...

On the whole Hotel De Petris wasn't worth £50 a night! More like £35 if am honest. You need to be up for at least 6.45am to get a hot shower! Room was cold as well! They gave us a extra blanket 🤔🤔 If your thinking about heading out on ya own with the will to find places on ya...

Dear Guest, The price you paid for our hotel is really disappointing, sorry you did not understand it. And if you did not understand where to go in the very heart of Rome and you were disappointed about it..well..there is nothing to add I think. Sorry. Best Regards

I stayed for one night back in June of 2016. Very nice property but the roof top bar was not open the evening I was there and that was one of the main reason I selected the property so I was disappointed to find it closed. Room was nice though and I enjoyed the ability to open the windows.

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear you found the roof closed. In winter time the terrace is not open everyday as the most of clients do not want to go up there in this period of the year. We are sure that if you decide to come back vising us you will be able to appreciate our beautiful roof...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
