First of all, it´s very unconfortable to have to pay your staying in advance, am I running out without paying ?? I don´t think so!!
The Hotel Des Artistes website shows a thematic hotel, with friendly people, but arriving the place you get nothing.
I love this hotel. It is a short distance to a Metro stop, and within walking distance to the main Metro stop in Rome. There is a WONDERFUL little Italian restaurant a few blocks away. You get a discount there for staying at the hotel,...More
Nice hotel close to the city Centre, very convenient for the metro and a short walk from the main Terminii station. The hotel is a typical city centre small hotel on five floors, with the reception on the fifth floor. All floors (except the roof...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Hi, not aware that the hotel offers anything sorry, however if you are flying into Fiumicino airport, there is a non stop direct train that goes into the centre of Rome. The station is the Termini and is a 10 minute straightforward walk to the hotel. Ticket costs €16, the train is of a very high standard and takes about 25 mins. Traffic in Rome is pretty manic, so a cab would probably cost a lot more.
Hope this helps 🙂
