Picked this based on price and easy walking distance from Termini. Pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable and helpful people. Quiet too, nevertheless the position in a busy street. An ectremely good alternative to larger, and more expensive hotels, and to stay far from the center.

Picked this based on price and easy walking distance from Termini. Pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable and nice people. Quiet too! They must have outlawed indiscriminant horn honking. Used to stay out of town to get away from it. Not necessary any more. Great restaurant across the side street called La Familia. Ate there twice. Busy place!

I choose this hotel because its just a 5 min walk from Rome Termini station and the room size is very generous compared to other hotels nearby! Our Double room was very fresh and modern with a nice bathroom with good size shower cubicle. Wi-Fi in room was erratic and slow. Room had good aircon and a fridge and cable...

A five minutes' walk from Termini and very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and the check in only took a few minutes. The room was very small - or I guess the very comfortable bed was too small for the room. Great with a small fridge, but I really missed a tea kettle. The breakfast was great...

What a great hotel in Rome for the price...it's no glamer hotel..but it's clean, close to the train terminal, close to the bus station, walking distance to the Coleseaum, the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and other great wonders of Rome.. And sits within some great restaurants on the same street...I challenge you to find find a better located and...

Hotel itself is average Bathroom is nice and the maid service cleans very well But the room we had was SUPER small Could not even fit 2 suitcases. The hotel itself is a bit hard to find, because there were barely flags and stuff. It is really close to stazione termini. When we came to our room it was soooooooooo small. We can't even walk properly through the room(404). The bathroom was too small for us 2 to brush our teeth. When you sit on the toilet, you...

The hotel was cozy and clean with good basic amenities. Breakfast was basic but was on a nice rooftop that has a good view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was pretty near the central train station, which takes about 7-8 minutes to get to. You can also reach Trevi fountain/ Spanish...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
