Hotel is just 2 minutes from Spanish steps and off the main shopping street. Staff very friendly, complimented by beautiful ornate surroundings. Room v clean and comfortable. good for both biz travellers and leisure free wifi which was a bonus!

I saw the reviews on trip advisor about this hotel and wouldn't have stayed here if my friend hasn't already made bookings. So I decided to upgrade my room to one with a balcony. Once I entered the room at 4 pm, the room was in shambles. The bed wasn't made, towels were everywhere in the bathroom and the door...

You can see that it used to be a grand and lovely hotel-many years ago. However, it is definitely dated and it needs to be redone. There...

I was really concerned about going to this hotel but after check in I realised that was unnecessary. The frontage and public rooms in the hotel are stunning and elegant. It is situated on the main shopping street, only minutes away from the Spanish Steps and convenient for all the attractions. Our bedroom was small but clean and everything was...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
