A group of us stayed here in September 2003 for a weekend break and were very disappointed. The only advantage was the location, perfect for shopping, restaurants and atmosphere. The rooms were tiny, breakfast was only served in your room which defeated the object of the 6 of us all having breakfast together each morning, the choice of breakfast also...

My husband and I were in Rome for 9days in November 2003. We picked this hotel based on the location and the ideal price. ($3000.00 CND for the both of us, includes airfare, and hotel, through expedia) The hotel had around 4-5 rooms. The lobby was small and quaint with pictures, old books and furniture that greeted you. My trip...

This 3 Star hotel did not live up to it's name as it wasn't anything more than a guesthouse. The 'hotel' just consisted of bedrooms and breakfast (which was very nice) was provided as room service. However the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit cramped and the lack of a shower curtain made the...

I was taking my beloved to Italy for the first time. We had visions of romance and beauty. We arrived at Palio Bianco last Monday, in its fantastic location behind Piazza Navona, (for which we were paying), in the rain, glad to finally be dry and stationery. We were disappointed as soon as we walked in and saw the reality...

This hotel was listed as a 4 star on another website and is no where near that quality. We were first told our hotel was in a small building that looked like a residence and once inside, saw crumbling walls, exposed wires, and dirty furniture. We were told by hotel management that we would go to another property because all...

Upon arrival, my first thought was that this couldn't be the hotel ! The taxi driver also thought this as there was no immediate indication of a hotel at this address. The entrance door, which was partially obstructed by a garbage dumpster, had an intercom with various tenants indicated, one of which was the Palio Bianco. After our hostess buzzed...

This boutique hotel is about 20 meters from the Piazza Navona (a spectular location). Because the hotel only has a few rooms, our arrival required that we call a partner hotel to have someone come and let us into our room (he arrived about 20 minutes from our call, and we arrived midday so it was not a problem). The...

I booked this place through Orbitz, referring to their notes and pictures and with a good location in a historic preservation area with suites it was perfect for us. It was to be the first stop on an Italian holiday for my husband, adult daughter and me. It is nearly impossible to find, the taxi driver could not find it...
