What a location and facilities that can't be beat. Loved the checkin staff and the rooms, there was a group of us so we had 5 rooms booked, each quite different and all equally clean. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but this small...More
My friend and I stayed here five nights, two as part of our tour group package and the last three on our own. We came away liking the hotel. Our first room was somewhat disappointing, with only one electrical outlet, which required a request for...More
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Carlo. The rooms were very nice; clean, and well stocked with the basic necessities. The breakfast terrace was very comfortable and the food provided more than adequate. The real plus is the hotel's location!I The Spanish Steps and...More
Location is everything with this hotel, and not just because it's on a relatively quiet side street very convenient to major landmarks like the Piazza Spagnolo. As we discovered to our regret, location is also everything when it comes to the quality of your room,...More

From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.

I, too, have no knowledge of an annex. Our room was large, even for Europe standards. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are spotless. I enjoyed my stay. Maybe you should contact the management directly via email.
