Our booking hadn't been held on arriving at the hotel, booked through Expedia, they said that it was our fault, we checked with Expedia and it wasn't. Only a single room left, tiny, not suitable and the receptionist released it whilst we were there. Didn't offer any help to find another hotel, we did, and did not offer help to... More

Dear Guest, we are apologize for the misunderstanding. We send you an email on 4 September where we explain to you that we need a valid credit card because the one given as guarantee was not valid and without it the reservation was not confirmed. We send two emails one to expedia and one directly to you, and we did... More

Rooms were clean and had everything you need, drink making facilities would of been good. The only downfall was when we arrived all beit late as... More

I stayed at this hotel for nearly a week and loved it - i was traveling solo but I felt very secure on the block it was on. There were a few great restaurants outside of the hotel, money exchange around the corner, spanish steps literally a 5 minute walk, a nightclub half a block. The staff was very accommodating... Perfect for short stay. Looked on website and the pictures up to date. Rooms not big but clean good enough for the price. Staff were helpful. Great location, close to Spanish steps . Would stay there again.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. The food is terrible, the staff are the rudest I have ever come across and on landing back to Ireland 2 days ago I realised they took another 125euro from my bank account after I paid the bill before leaving. I called them and got screamed at by the receptionist who... More

Lovely hotel close to the Spanish steps, metro, restaurants and shopping. Excellent wifi! Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Well stocked mini bar, in room safe, hairdryer. Staff were pleasant. Only downfall was that the room wasn't soundproofed and I heard noise from guests beside me and down the hall. Overall a nice hotel and pleasant stay.

Hotel Homs is located five minutes walk from the Spanish steps and near lots of nice restaurants, bars and cafes. The room was nice and comfortable and breakfast was really nice. The staff are very friendly too.

My room was small but nice. It was every day cleaned and look nice. Great windows that you don't hear noise from outside. It's little bit old but they care to make this place nice. Wifi work great. In reception is computer which you can use it and print something if you need. Close to historical centrum... I like it:)

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend. The hotel is clean and well presented. However our room whilst being more than adequate could have done with a little TLC to tidy it up. The shower had a mind of its own and flooded the bathroom if you were not careful and the curtains didn't quite fit all the... More

Overall had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Homs. Location is very central (close to Spanish Steps), and breakfast was good. We had a very large room on 4th floor, that was perfect for a 4 person family. Was particularly quiet, amidst the general ongoing noise and congestion of Rome. Staff were helpful with questions and booking a local tour.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
